Kota Kinabalu Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring Full-Day Tour

Handsome Jeff was a very friendly guide!!He was very knowledgeable about Malaysia and the countries of his guests and shared many stories with us.We had a great time with him and would recommend him to everyone( ◠‿◠ )

20th June 2025, family and I having this trip, overall is enjoyable especially having tour guide Jeff who is a biophilic person. We are the only group thus able to go with our own pace. The weather was bad in the week we arrived kota kinabalu, so Jeff proposed to switch the sequence of Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring as hot spring there is small hiking part where not suitable for raining. The morning started with sunny day and we managed to enjoy the small hiking with hot spring. Lunch we took opposite hot spring, malay restaurant with chinese style cooking, personally not use to the taste. The weather turned bad when visiting Desa farm. When arrived Kinabalu park(last point), it is raining, we had a short stay here. Probably will visit Kinabalu park if here again. For rafflesia it is not included, but Jeff managed to find one for us to visit. Before trip, Jeff did informed us some entrance fees will be needed, including the rafflesia. Thank you Jeff once again.

Our tour guide Mr Handsome Jeff was very courteous and accommodative. We were lucky as our family were the only ones in the tour, so it became a private tour! He kept us very entertained with his stories of Sabah and its history. He also adjusted the timing as necessary in order for us to get the best view of Mount Kinabalu. The itinerary was relaxing but nice. I've always wanted to visit the "New Zealand" of Malaysia. No regrets.

The canopy is very good for hiking. Mr guide is very friendly and helpful. He explained about the mountain, people and how to reach to the peak of Kinabalu. We not have a chance to hike around the park due to heavy rain but Kinabalu museum give some good information.

Fuss-free day trip with our tour guide Jeff! Jeff handles all the entrance/attraction tickets + all items inclusive of the tour package. We just chill and follow along~ Manage to catch a glimpse of Mount KK peak before the mountain was covered by the clouds at Nabalu! Feed the calves and tried out the ice cream at Desa farm. Did a small walk up the Sosodikon hill to have a view of Kundasang~ Finally had a small photo taking session at the sky mirror (literally 4 panels of mirror put together). Very relaxing day~

It was the first we went to Kundasang. Our guide Jeff was very knowledgeable and passionate in explaining the historical context of those places we passed by. A very pleasant and relaxing trip indeed

Had a great day out with Jeff. He was funny, polite and had great knowledge. We didn’t realise when we booked it was Malaysia Day so he swapped the itinerary around which saved us sitting in a traffic jam for hours. The lunch was delicious as well. would highly recommend Handsome Jeff 😊

it was a lucky and memorable experience for our family as we were the only ones on the tour led by local guide Calvin. Logistics were seamless as he got in touch a day before via WhatsApp to state meeting time and let us know his vehicle number. Being extremely experienced, he was able to gauge the weather and the traffic conditions, and switched around the order of stops on our itinerary to enable us to have a smooth journey throughout. Kudos to the efforts! Fruit farm was underwhelming but view was nice. The canopy walk was a bit challenging but we made it and the view up there was beautiful. Hot spring was interesting as Calvin shared its history and health benefits. Desa Farm is a must-go, as the dairy products were really tasty - go for their creamy flavoured milk and chocolate gelato! Cool windy temperature at the farm and view was amazing! Thereafter we even went to see Rafflesia irl. As our tour completed earlier than scheduled, Calvin brought us to eat local fruits and wild boar meat, which were truly authentic! Throughout, he let us learn so much more about Sabah in a day Really an unforgettable day trip!
