The DoubleTree by Hilton Shenzhen Bay was a bit disappointing. Both the exterior and interior were very different from other DoubleTree hotels I've stayed at. Aside from the cool air conditioning in the room, other areas felt like they had no AC and were very hot. The ground floor restaurant was so hot it was unbearable to eat in—it was terrible. In contrast, the Hilton Garden Inn Zhongshan had a great lobby and restaurant, with very cool air conditioning. The room AC was also sufficient, making it feel many times better than the DoubleTree hotel.

The hotel staff provided good service, the rooms were reasonably large, and the Thai food for the dinner set was quite tasty. The buffet breakfast on the second day was average, with not many options. Overall, it was a good experience and worth a try.

The rooms are clean and the environment is quiet. Twin rooms do not have bathtubs; only rooms with double beds have bathtubs, making them suitable for couples, as the bathtub is located in the room's common area. There are also many choices for breakfast.

I've never had such a bad experience buying from Klook. The so-called Southeast Asian package was terrible; the restaurant wasn't open in the evening, only offering takeout to be eaten at a supposedly 'leisurely' spot with uncomfortable seating. We had no choice but to eat outdoors, which would be impossible in hot weather without air conditioning. I suggest the hotel just sell rooms instead. Breakfast was okay, but paying over 1300 for the meal package was definitely not worth it. Upon arrival, I upgraded to a room with a bathtub, which was quite comfortable, but this is the worst Hilton hotel I've ever stayed at. Service: Do not buy the dinner package.

The service attitude was average, but the overall room was good. Dinner choices were limited, and breakfast was an 80/100.

The room wasn't particularly upgraded, which is fine, but the champagne included in the package was never delivered. The check-in staff was aloof. It wasn't mentioned during booking that a deposit of over $1600 was required. Although it has been refunded, clear communication would prevent guest embarrassment. The dinner temperature was noticeably insufficient! The room design is also quite inconvenient, with a slightly large single sofa obstructing access to the bed and bathroom facilities. The most ridiculous thing is that the hotel lobby entrance doesn't make a guest feel like they have arrived at the hotel at all. It's absurd.
