Everything was really great overall. We got to everywhere we wanted/needed to be and the instructions got me where I needed to go. I do wish some of the finer points (like going to the information desk to pick up the tickets instead of just “B1 of Kitte” or a better guide for getting to the bus stop). Otherwise, super helpful to have everything bundled into one when I can’t buy tickets from the website directly.
It was a very good experience. I went to the place indicated on Klook to pick up the tickets. The staff who was helping me was very thorough with the information of which train line to go, which gate to go through and how to use the shinkansen tickets. She was very nice and polite. It was quite rush for us since there is a timeline for everything but once we figured out the shinkansen which is the hardest part, everything else was smooth sailing. Aichi park is such a big and beautiful park. Ghibli park is so popular. There are long lines for any main exhibits and activities for example: taking pictures with No Face. The staff are very helpful and polite. We will need more time for the whole park and we didnt even have premium ticket since we booked too late and this package is the only one available for Ghibli park left. Highly recommend this park if you are Ghibli fan, but try to book the ticket in advance and stay in Nagoya the night before.
Completely worth it if you couldn't get tickets on the park's official website, everything was super good and I didn't have a problem with any ticket, 100% recommended
our Ghibli Park trip yesterday was great! i highly recomend this package. it'll save you from booking your tickets individually per station, the only challenge left for non-locals is to find which station you're supposed to be at, but that's part of the adventure! 🤗
We wanted the better pass that allowed us entry into every exhibit but we settled for the standard pass because it was impossible to get the other one and going was better than not! This package came with the bare necessities. we appreciated how detailed and easy to understand the itinerary was. I would recommend this package to my friends and family!
it was a nice day. we enjoyed the park. transportation was smooth. took nazomi to cut train time, this time of year it had unreserved seats.
My child loves animation, so we've visited the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka every summer when we come to Tokyo. This year, they wanted to go to Ghibli Park, so we chose that. There wasn't much information about transportation, but traveling by Shinkansen was great. However, my child felt that the park wasn't fully ready yet, and it was less impressive compared to the museum.
The park is so massive that I literally could not see all of it in one visit! The Ghibli Grand Warehouse truly was grand and the different areas were so kawaii that I felt overjoyed. The transportation package helped a lot with logistics overall, it did require some work to pick up the tickets ahead of time but on the day of the trip it all went smoothly. Be prepared to walk 20K steps to get in visits to the Mononoke Village and Witch's Valley outside of the warehouse; plus a few more premium areas and rides were available. Lunch at the warehouse was expensive, with 4 out of 5 stars in tastiness.
We booked for a Saturday in May. Pickup of the ticket pack from KITTE Tokyo Station was easy. Instructions were straightforward. Our first time to do the nonreserved seats on the shinkansen. We found the Hikari to have more cars and available seats than the Nozomi. 15 minutes before departure was enough for 2 of us to get seats together at the shinkansen and the meitetsu bus to and from the park. The standard ticket was already worth it. We only went to Valley of Witches and the Grand Warehouse. We were so tired walking just through these 2 attractions. They are also pretty far from the bus stop and train station so it involved A LOT of walking. We arrived at 9am park opening so we were able to get tickets to Howl's Castle, The Okino Residence (Kiki's Childhood House), and The House of Witches.
This was an "amazing race", but it worked well! I highly recommend this package. We did it one way from Tokyo to the park, and then continued to Kyoto. I bought this package because standalone tickets to the park were sold out, but in the end this was better. Why? The package came with precise logistical instructions. It would've been very hard to figure out all of this ourselves. The Shinkansen tickets worked just fine. Non-reserved seats were totally fine going from Tokyo to Nagoya. Then we bought our own non-reserved tickets from Nagoya to Kyoto after we were done with the park and got on the train few minutes after (so no preplanning was needed). Tip: ship the luggage from hotel to hotel like Japanese do. This made enormous difference for us. Warning: (1) the bus connection was tight, but we made it from 7:09 Nozomi train from Tokyo to 9:00 bus in Nagoya. Use Google Maps, signs in Nagoya were bad. (2) Return bus schedule on Wed was sparse vs weekend!!! We returned by local train.
