Additional Costs: The optional saree rental was gorgeous, and the optional makeup and hair styling were exquisite. My family was very satisfied. Time: If you opt for makeup and hair styling, you'll need extra preparation time, at least 1.5 hours. It's probably best not to schedule any other activities afterward.

A very interesting traditional costume experience. We booked it spontaneously, and it was easy to reserve and the location was easy to find. The shop contacted us via WhatsApp to provide details about our visit. It was a wonderful experience of Hindu traditional culture and attire.

My friend and I are happy customers. The Time Travelling MSIA fulfilled our bucket list to experience traditional dress at Batu Cave. May was very helpful in selecting dresses and accessories that fit our characters. Jack, the photographer, was awesome; he knows how to motivate his clients to pose. Their makeup artist did a good job.

A must try if you go to Batu Caves! I always look for traditional outfits when going on international trips and Time Travelling Traditional Costume did not disappoint! Their photographer is very good at taking photos and even have awesome editing skills! There were so many people during our photoshoot but as you can see, they are gone! Totally worth every cent!

The experience was amazing. The staff member who assisted me was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy. Even though I came alone, I felt completely comfortable the entire time. It’s definitely worth upgrading with hair and the premium saree, it really adds to the overall look and makes you feel even more beautiful. It took me a while to choose my dress because there were so many great options, but in the end, it was absolutely worth it. Such a lovely experience overall. I highly recommend it!

When purchasing through Klook, the basic outfit costs 48 Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). On-site, you can upgrade to a more heavily embroidered style for an additional 20 MYR, or for an extra 50 MYR, you can choose a gown similar to those worn at weddings (which are very elaborate and beautiful). For an additional 10 MYR, you can select jewelry accessories (headpiece OR bracelet + earrings + necklace); clip-on earrings are available for those without pierced ears. You can also add on professional makeup services for 130 MYR, or choose a package that includes a photographer. It's entirely up to individual preference, with no pressure to purchase extras. The staff were very friendly, and the clothes and jewelry were beautiful and looked great in photos. After returning the clothes, facial cleanser was provided for washing up, and there was also a water dispenser to rehydrate, as Malaysia is truly, truly hot. Overall, I was very satisfied.
