- Standard ticket: Applicants aged 13 years and above (inclusive) to 60 years and below on the day of purchase
- Children's ticket: Age between 2 years old (inclusive) and 12 years old (inclusive) on the day of ticket purchase
- Free admission policy: Visitors under 2 years old can enjoy free admission on the day of the visit. You must present a valid ID to verify your age.
- Visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by visitors aged 16 or above
- Disabled persons must bring valid disability certificates issued by the government or official organizations to purchase exclusive tickets at the ticket office of Shanghai Legoland Theme Park on the day of the visit. The tickets can only be used by the holder of the certificate.

How to redeem
- Visitors must hold a valid ticket to enter Shanghai LEGOLAND® Theme Park (hereinafter referred to as the "Park") and present a valid government-issued ID to verify age and identity. Park tickets are non-transferable and can only be used by the person during their validity period. Any changes will render the ticket invalid. For detailed information on ticket policies, please refer to the ticket booking page.
- Mainland Chinese visitors must use their ID card for entry. Visitors from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan must use their Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan. Foreign visitors must use their passports for entry.

Legoland Shanghai is truly a dream destination for Lego lovers. The park is very spacious and well-organized. Even though it can be crowded, the queue management is excellent, so waiting times are not too long.
There are great facilities, including restaurants with delicious food and very clean restrooms that are well maintained at all times.
To make the most of your visit, I highly recommend arriving early or staying at the Lego hotel, as the area is quite large. If walking becomes tiring, strollers are available for rent in various sizes—single or double seats—with good weight capacity, even suitable for adults.
You should allow extra travel time, as the location is quite far from the city. However, you can get there by both train and DiDi. In our case, we traveled by DiDi and it took about 2 hours (as it was the Qingming Festival, so traffic was very heavy). Nevertheless, I think it is absolutely worth it if you are a Lego lover.

Kids loved seeing all the epic lego creations, trying to guess how many lego pieces it took to construct them. Fire academy, driving school and the giant roller coaster going around the big lego man were their favourites!

Tickets are attached to your passport so make sure to bring your passport! Klook has the best prices for Legoland! This resort theme park is new so very spacious, clean and well laid out. Rides favour towards younger children ages 14 and under but my 13-year-old Lego fanatic had just as much fun as his little sister. Crowds were more manageable than Disneyland with queues averaging 30-40 minutes except The Big Coaster which was 90 minutes. Merchandise and food prices are more on the expensive side compared to local Shanghai attractions and dining, as to be expected. The only con is that the park is located about 75km outside the city so private transfer via Didi is 1.5 hour one-way, which makes for a long day.

Shanghai LEGOLAND is a brilliantly designed, family-friendly resort tailored for kids roughly 3 to 11 years old. It offers an immersive, highly detailed, and much less crowded alternative to Disneyland. While older thrill-seekers might find it a bit tame, it is an absolute paradise for younger LEGO fans.

We went on a weekday, Monday, and there were very few people. We could walk right onto all the rides, and there were so few people that we even had a roller coaster car to ourselves. For a child's birthday, the restaurant staff prepared a LEGO birthday cake for photos and gave us a complimentary bowl of noodles (enough for a child). The only downside is that it's quite far from downtown Shanghai. Many people suggest taking the high-speed train, which is a 20-minute ride, but if you're traveling with children, I personally recommend taking a taxi. It takes about 1.5 hours (which is similar to the high-speed train when you factor in the time spent on luggage checks, ID checks, waiting for the train, getting on and off, and transferring). A taxi offers door-to-door service, and you can relax for the entire journey.

Legoland is about 60 to 70 km from central Shanghai so plan ahead. Travel time is around 1.5 hours depending on where you are staying.
The park is fairly new and the facilities are excellent. We visited as a family of six with kids aged 5, 9, 16, and 17. We have children on the spectrum and the staff were top notch. They really went above and beyond and made our experience very pleasant.
The park is also more English friendly compared to many attractions in the city, which made navigating much easier for foreign visitors. It was not very crowded during our visit.
If you need a PWD concession ticket it is best to buy onsite rather than in advance. We booked regular tickets via Klook and entry was smooth. We just showed our passports.
Food inside is expensive (as expected) but there are many restaurants just outside the park which isn’t too far of a walk.
I recommend spending a full day here. There was never a dull moment and we all had a blast!!! 💙💛❤️

omg had soo much fun here. Im not a lego person but I enjoy park rides and legoland was spectacular. My hubby is a lego person but not me and I had soo much fun. We dont have kids and went as a couple and it was fun. I love how the line keeps moving and theres not a long wait time, like there are some long queues but still not complaining. Only thing I would complain about is how far it is to travel for but the scenery was great so that makes up for it. Food was greattt as well, not just the taste but the visuals was amazing!! 10/10
