This year, a giant 8-meter-wide heart-shaped candle décor and 10+ sets of décor will return to Tai Pak Beach, creating a sweet and romantic evening. Your heartful message to your loved one will be displayed on the large LED screens at Central Pier no.3 and DB Ice Rink. Adding to the romance, the beloved band The Flame returns for a seaside live performance, serenading guests with love songs under the stars. To make the celebration even sweeter, Discovery Bay presents the Valentine’s Day Bouquet and Dining Pre-order Package, starting from HK$1,530. Guests can choose from Chinese, Western, or Korean romantic dinner sets, each paired with two ferry tickets from DB to Central. Quite cheesy package, but that's exactly what I wanted and expected. The flowers were surprising large, and the padlock a nice touch. The star of the show was surprising the meal, which was both filling and good quality - I went for the Korean Joo restuarant and the Beef Rib was very good, alongside great service from a team of staff who handled the busy day well. The package did not include outbound ferry, which was a bit unexpected. And it's all geared up for you to spend money in DB - but the extra cost of the ice rink was worth it to see the message on the big screen. Ice skaiting was not busy and fun too.
