【KLOOK Selection】Lijiang Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 1-Day Tour

Really positive experience! The entire tour was seamless and well-organised from start to finish. Our tour manager shared all the important information before and during the trip, including a detailed PDF, and coordinated with our driver/guide. She was also very responsive to all my questions. Warm outerwear, bottled water and oxygen tanks (personally didnt need this) were provided. Our guide, Mr 沈, was very thoughtful and explained everything clearly, including how to get around at each destination. He always made sure we were comfortable and replied promptly on WeChat too. The small group size was a bonus as we got comfortable with our fellow travellers quickly. We visited in early September and it wasn’t too crowded, as it wasn’t peak season. There was a slight drizzle, but the weather was nice and cool. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable trip!

A one-day tour of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain offers an excellent experience. The towering and sacred snow peaks, along with the crystal-clear waters of Blue Moon Valley, make every photo opportunity stunning. The itinerary is well-paced, and the natural scenery is incredibly breathtaking. This is a must-visit spot when in Lijiang, and I highly recommend it.

The tour was very well arranged, with Tom coordinating everything through WeChat. The driver picked us up early at 6.30am to avoid the crowds. First, we went to pick up the oxygen bottles before proceeding to the first location, blue moon valley, reaching at approximately 7.15-7.30am. En route, we saw huge crowds queuing for tickets. Once we reached blue moon valley, the driver did not follow us in but gave us very detailed instructions on what to do. We also paid for the mini shuttles to bring us around (~40 yuan). After that, we were supposed to meet the driver at the tourist centre but as the rest of my group have not returned, my guide instructed me to head up to the mountain first. Again, he sent specific instructions and the QR code which will be used for the cable car rides and the Lijiang impression performance. Overall, the itinerary was well-planned and there were sufficient time for us to explore the places on our own and the whole process was seamless.

Overall, the trip and experience were excellent. Guide came on time, weather was perfect and it didn’t rain. The guide was very efficient in answering our queries via WeChat. However, the only negative aspect was the impression performance at 1:30 PM. It was incredibly hot, and we couldn't sit for more than 15 to 30 minutes before leaving. I understand this might not be entirely within control, but it would be great if they could build a shelter for the audience. That would be perfect. So we left early and driver was also open to drop us off at 白沙 instead of sending us back to the 丽江.

This was a truly reliable tour group, and our guide/driver was professional and patient! They took meticulous care of us in many ways, from early morning until late afternoon. The scenery at Glacier Park and Blue Moon Valley was absolutely beautiful. Even though the high altitude was challenging, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was often obscured by fog, and my shoes got completely soaked from the rain, I still felt it was well worth the trip and absolutely wonderful! There was no shopping or additional costs throughout the tour, which was very satisfying! I'd love to come back again when the weather is good, without rain or fog!

Thank you to our organizer, Ms 小鱼Aurora and team, and of course to our best man, the driver and guide for the day, Mr 沈哥雪山. 1. From planning on the day before, to the actual trip, all were perfectly organized. We could not speak or read Chinese, so the translation apps on our phones was really helpful !! 2. Pick up at our hotel front door right on time at 5.30 AM by the driver Mr 沈哥雪山. 3. Thick warm jackets, mineral water bottles and oxygen cans were all provided !!! 4. On the sites, Mr 沈哥雪山 walked with us, to help with all tickets and ID/passport scan processes. 5. After our entrance were cleared, we were allowed around 2 hours time free to explore, at each the magnificent Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the serene Blue Moon Lake. We then enjoyed the Great Impressions Lijiang Show. 6. The return trip to our hotel was also safe and smooth, all were tired, but sure we were very happy we had this trip !!! Hope one day we can come to visit Lijiang again. Thank you !! 99 Stars !!! *********

Although weather was extremely cloudy at the peak of yulong, the tour was still extremely enjoyable. really loved exploring blue moon valley. guide was friendly and guided us throughout. transfer was hassle free also.

Visited Spruce Meadow, Blue Moon Valley, and Impression Lijiang, hitting all the major spots. The itinerary was comfortable, the driver was attentive and reliable, and there were no hidden fees or traps. Highly recommended for a pure and enjoyable experience.

1) Shuttle Arrangement: The vehicle and travel time, as well as the pick-up and drop-off locations, were well arranged. 2) Itinerary Arrangement: The itinerary arrangement was clear and simple. When problems arose, the Klook team's guide and driver were able to respond and share information immediately. 3) Time Management: There was ample time for sightseeing and lunch, and the time management for shuttle buses, cable cars, and each attraction was clear. 4) Support Services: Water, oxygen cylinders, and warm clothing were prepared, eliminating any worries. 5) The Klook team's service staff were attentive and friendly, and worked diligently to arrange the details of the itinerary.

Overall very nice tour to yulong snow mountain. The only downside is that the lunch was horrible and the impression of lijiang show was very unenjoyable as it was super hot without any cover from the sun, many people left the show early.
