I thought there was a car to pick us up, it would be better if this part could be made clear. The guide Li's part was completely fine. He took us on the subway and explained the history along the way, which gave us a deeper understanding. Except for the Drum Tower, which was not lit, the rest of the night scenery was beautiful, especially Houhai, which was more worth visiting than during the day.

Our guide was a local beijing person who had a heavy accent and we conversed with each other comfortably. He was obviously very familiar with his surroundings, taking us through the heavy security TianAnMen, old shopping streets and Shichahai park. Really interesting tour. If you don’t like groups, do something like this.
