beautiful park with lots to see! we spent too much time taking photos at the start, and were exhausted by 3rd segment. There was a fragrant scent of osmanthus everywhere, think the flowers were in bloom.
This park is always a delight to visit! It is very big with a lot of flora and fauna to see, but also a bit about korean culture. When we were there, we got to see some peacocks outside of their cages. Overall it's a very nice place to have a big walk on a nice day, I recommend this park!
Hallim Park is huge! You have plenty of time to stroll around if you schedule it for a morning. Book tickets in advance on Klook, scan the code at the ticket office upon arrival, and the staff will give you a receipt for admission. It's hot in the tropical botanical garden, but looking at the green plants is good for your eyes! Wild peacocks roam freely. Jaeam Folk Village shows the living environment of ancient Koreans, like in historical Korean dramas. You can imagine that ancient Koreans were probably not very tall because the eaves are so low! Finally, the Hyeopjaegul Cave attraction wasn't as spectacular as I expected; I remember the ones in Malaysia or Okinawa being better!
this was quite an interesting experience! we got to access the park which had many interesting exhibits, plants, animals, and the highlight - two caves. it was well maintained and worth the price.
The park is very huge with various birds and plants to watch. The most breathtaking place was the caves, where show the stunning rocks and interesting folktales. The temperature is cool, though. Remember to bring a coat!
Hallim Park is huge! A morning itinerary is plenty of time to explore. After booking tickets on Klook, you can scan the QR code at the ticket counter, and once the staff gives you a receipt, you can enter. There are several large areas to visit. The Jaeam Folk Village shows what living conditions were like in ancient times. Since Manjanggul Cave was under renovation and not yet open, we went here instead. The main attractions to see are Hyeopjaegul Cave and Ssangyonggul Cave, which are truly spectacular! However, it's not brightly lit inside, so you need to be careful when walking.
The place is really wonderful and have a lot to see since I am a nature lover. The weather is cold and very peaceful
I went to Hallim Park without much expectation, but it turned out to be the most fun and best part of my Jeju trip! There was so much to see, and it was my first time seeing so many palm trees in my life, haha. I also saw mini mangoes and cute animals, and it was especially amazing to see peacocks, haha. I loved that you can see new flowers every month, and I think I'll visit again next time.
