Don’t buy tickets on Klook! It’s twice the price compared to buying them directly at the Pier 33 counter. It’s the exact same tour and experience. Save your money and just get your tickets at the pier. For the tour. All the staff are very nice

The best ever experience @ San Francisco!!! Booking is very easy, cancellation and refund is hassle-free since I need to update my itinerary & rebooked again to another date, ferry ride is only a few minutes and very safe, tour inside the prison got audio guide which the guests can follow complete with history & trivia and in different languages, they even offer printed guide in different languages also, the entire island is very interesting to explore, all-in-all, highly recommended!!!

The boarding time is very clear and on time. The tour guide on the island has Chinese commentary, which allows you to better understand the situation in the prison! The boat is spacious and has food for sale. This trip is worth recommending!

This place is good for History lovers.. There is smell of bird droppings around and it can become irritating sometimes.

The ferry tickets booked by the supplier may be different from the time you choose. Please pay attention to the email notification one day before the trip. Many areas on Alcatraz Island are not open and cannot be explored freely, which is a little disappointing.

I booked this Alcatraz Island tour months in advance, hoping to visit the island the afternoon I arrived in San Francisco. However, the provider only sent a cancellation notice in the early morning of the tour date. This tour doesn't require a minimum number of participants. If the provider intended to cancel the booking, they should have canceled it earlier, allowing customers to quickly choose alternative tours to the island. Fortunately, I managed to find another tour that also visited Alcatraz Island that morning, otherwise, my rating would have been even worse.
