Kaohsiung: Moon World, Lotus Pond Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, Pier-2 Art Center, and Love River One-Day Tour

The tour was great and it had let us visit the top Kaohsiung City attractions. It’s just that the very warm weather is the challengegoing from one place to another. It was very humid in the city which made the tour kinda’ difficult for us tourists because it somehow spolied our excitement. Everyone is complaining on the hot weather but at the same time, we enjoyed taking pictires despite the hot weather. The warm weather was extreme especially during noontime till 4-5pm in the afternoon. There’s not much to see in the Arts Museum. The one that delighted us is the nearby train station. The pier has a lot of people too despite the extreme hot weather, which was our last stop of the day. The Tiger Dragon pagoda was one of the best, same with the Moon Landscape Park and the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum too! This tour is highly recommended especially for those who are first-time visitors in Kaohsiung.

Booking this day tour on Klook was a highly efficient way to cover Kaohsiung’s most famous landmarks in a single day. The itinerary was beautifully organized and allowed us to seamlessly visit Moon World, Lotus Pond, the iconic Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the creative Pier-2 Art Center. Our absolute highlight was the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum. We specifically enjoyed the vegetarian lunch served there; it was incredibly delicious and a wonderful cultural experience! However, the tour could be significantly improved if the guide provided more depth. While the transit and scheduling were smooth, it would have been much better if the guide explained more of the historical significance, cultural context, and important details of the places we visited, rather than just a quick overview and dropping us off at the sites. Overall, it is still an excellent and stress-free option for quick sightseeing, but it could offer a lot more value with better commentary.

Wonderful Kaohsiung tour. Bus was comfortable, slightly larger group but was fine. Well-paced walkabout with enough time at each stop. Fo Guang Shan was the best for us. Guide was experienced, spoke good English and Mandarin. Overall enjoyed the day out, covered many places. Happy to have dropped by Sunny Hills too for souvenirs. Thank you for the trip!

This was a fantastic day tour for anyone wanting to explore Kaohsiung conveniently. Our guide was amazing! He provided us with excellent commentary all throughout. He even provided us with suggestions for where eat at the night market at the end of the trip. I would recommend.

Enjoyed all the places in the tour. Very good driver and always on time and very much helpful with pictures and explaining all our queries. Highly recommended best value for the money and makes the trip to Taiwan more meaningful because of the culture , preserve places for tourist to enjoy.

We had a full day exploring the sites of Kaoshiung. Pickup at the Formosan Station was prompt. We rode a van that serviced us the whole day. Moon world, a badland an hour away, was fascinating. The next stop was Fo Guang which was huge. The museums there were interesting. We had lunch at Fo Guang. We made more stops at various points so we recommend this if you want to see the important spots in and around Kaoshiung conveniently.

How do i even start. Big buddah statue check. Diverse natural landscape check. beautiful pagodas check, modern art thats actually interesting and funny check. This trip got it all and the guide was super cute, super friendly, super informative and super helpsome. He helped us with a big mistake we did oursealf and we are verry verry happy with him as our guide. If you are in Kaohsiung or heck Taiwan in general i would recomen this trip 10/10 times to everyone.

I had an amazing tour (11/19/2025). the tour guide ( I forgot his name Joseph or Robert?) was AMAZING! he spoke extremely fluent English and shared stories about his experiences abroad which made the tour more personable. He was also supper knowledgable about the things on the tour! I was so lucky to have him as my tour guide!
