Private Charter from Beijing to Jinshanling the Great Wall or Gubei Water Town

Driver Mr. Zhu was kind and friendly. While we originally intended to visit Gubei water town only, he recommended us to visit the nearby Jinshanling Great Wall site too. We had an amazing time visiting Jinshanling and Gubei. We were a family of 7 people, and Mr Zhu’s mini bus was comfortable and clean. Thank you so much Mr Zhu for taking care of us!

The car picked me up on time and gave me great advice. Inside Gubei is quite big and there is a cable car to go up to the Great Wall. There weren't many people at this checkpoint.

The drive to Jinshanling from Beijing city center takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours one way. The highway portion was smooth with no traffic jams. On non-highway sections, when there was a lot of traffic, slow vehicles often required frequent overtaking, which seemed unavoidable. Overall, there were no issues. It is really convenient to rent a car to Jinshanling. The driver will communicate with us on WeChat the day before to communicate the meeting time and confirm the location. Gubei Water Town is really beautiful. It is also connected to the Great Wall. The later the night, the more people there are. So just go to both at once. If you have time, you can really go there. Most of the time is spent taking the car. The Great Wall is also very beautiful at night. Just need to add overtime fee😵
