Quite unique activities, such as those you just encountered while traveling, are worth participating in. The organizer is very thoughtful and specially prepared lanterns for participants to use as lighting. Maple leaf or ginkgo patterns are projected under the lanterns, which is worthy of praise.
It was very beautiful and worth the visit. There weren't many people so I was able to look around at my own pace, and it felt quite rare as it was only open for a limited time. I also learned a lot from listening to the talk by the monk. The location, within walking distance of Kyoto Station, was also great.
It was very nice. The illuminated Higashi Honganji Temple with lanterns was beautiful. We also had a talk with a monk inside, so we had a very fulfilling time.
The content of the event is bland, the lighting is sparse, and there are few places to enjoy it.
