Reviews
It was a perfect and fantastic tour. I met the best guide and was able to have the best Big Island trip. The guide's explanations were very rich, diverse, detailed, and fun, so although it was a long tour, it was not boring at all and I was able to learn more about Hawaii. The tour course was perfect, and thanks to the meticulous and kind guide, I was able to travel very comfortably and safely. Lunch and dinner were also very good, and although it was a long schedule, I was able to enjoy all the courses appropriately. Above all, the course at Volcano National Park was perfect, and I had the great fortune of seeing the lava eruption. Also, the moment of looking at the stars in the night sky was fantastic. All of this was thanks to the guide who was really perfect. I sincerely thank the guide who made the tour a good time and I highly recommend this tour!!
if you’re lucky, you can watch the lava flow and the beautiful sky at one go. general, it’s a joyful experience.
If nothing else, you must do this!! It was so much fun and tiring, but it was great to experience the stars falling down. Guide Todd's kind explanations and English pronunciation were very clear and fast. He spoke in Korean here and there because he had lived in Korea for a year and a half. I especially liked that he explained things while we were looking at the stars, and I liked that he went with us every time we moved and explained things. It was great that they provided lunch and dinner, and they also provided water, and even windbreakers for those who didn't bring clothes, but bring a padded jacket. It's cold. They dropped us off at tourist spots in between so that we could go to the bathroom often. It was the most satisfying part of the tour.
The best way to explore Big Island in one day, the stars, volcano, coffee farm and seeing the turtles were all amazing. Our guide was professional and informative, loved his passion for the island and its history.
Our guide, Tedd, was very kind and made the tour a lot of fun. We enjoyed about half of the 12-hour tour on the Big Island. We were worried about the weather, but it turned out well enough that we were able to stargaze. Lunch and dinner were included, and they also provided water and snacks, which I thought was a great value for the price. Highly recommended.
The tour leader was very professional and the time was arranged just right. The whole trip told us a lot of knowledge and stories, which made us understand Hawaii better. The car was very comfortable! It was a great trip. Although the weather was not very good this time and the stars we could see were very limited, it was still a wonderful experience. The company was very considerate to provide jackets to keep us warm even in the mountains. The dinner was a little insufficient, but the food was delicious.
The itinerary itself was well-planned and included many attractions. Unfortunately, the weather suddenly turned very bad on the day we participated. The roads we planned to take were flooded, which meant we couldn't visit three of the planned destinations. When we reached the volcano, the weather was so poor that visibility was too low to see anything. It rained continuously along the way, and walking the paths near the volcano in the rain was quite difficult. The tour guide was excellent, making every effort to ensure our comfort. He even hoped we would see stars until the very last moment and provided very detailed explanations about them. He also made a special trip back up the volcano after dinner to try our luck one last time. However, I feel this activity is highly dependent on the weather. It would be better if the tour agency had a backup plan, allowing guests to participate in other activities when the weather is bad.
