Colombo Scooter Day Tour

One of the best activities I ever joined - exploring Colombo on a scooter! Warun is such nice and polite guide/driver. Highly recommended.

I had a great tour of Colombo. The guide was great and took me to many sights. He always asked if I wanted to go any place specific and never rushed if I wanted to stay longer. Communication was never a problem and he made the eventful tour fun going place to place on the motorbike.

Colombo is a very suitable place to visit with a local tour guide. It is a bit like a place in India. Although it is a bit dirty, the people are very friendly!

I had a hard time getting in touch with both the local company and the driver, and even when I finally did, the driver didn't come to the hotel lobby where we were meeting, and even though I asked him many times, he said, ``I'll be there in 10 minutes, so please wait.'' ” he replied. And even after that, they rarely come. I sent a message saying "I'm canceling now!" and he finally showed up 10 minutes later. I ended up being 40 minutes late. I had to leave the country after the tour and have time to fly, so I was in trouble because I didn't have enough time. In the end, it took about 40 minutes. It's too cruel.

The guide wasn’t able to give me any information about what I was visiting, besides the name of the place. The itinerary I was sent a day before was not respected, the guide insisting on taking me to the ‘bird park’ and the new parliament which were on the opposite side of where we were and were not worth the visit. This ended up in more than one hour on the scooter and missing the entrance to an Hindu shrine I really wanted to see (they all close at 12) and missing seeing the rest of the items of the itinerary. So I can say I had a driver for 4 hours, but not a guided tour.

Poorly organized. Guides waited at a different location than my hotel’s main entrance. Tried to contact the tour operator but he did not respond. He only contacted me 1 hr later after the meeting time.

Amazing experience! Highly recommend everyone complete this. Friendly, accommodating and a great way to explore the city.

First off, there wasn't a meeting time given so we had to wake up really early to wait for them. Unfortunately at the end, there was no show, only an email to apologise for cancelling due to unforeseen matters. It was frustrating as we could have made other plans with another company prior and now we have nothing planned. Very disappointing!
