The driver, Dishan, was very nice. Because many roads were closed during the typhoon, you didn’t have to worry about finding the way when you rented a car. The driver also briefly introduced the scenic spots along the way, and finally arrived at the hotel safely.
The car was clean and tidy, which we appreciated. However, the driver didn’t seem interested in offering even the most basic level of service beyond just driving. We weren’t expecting a tour guide, but a short introduction or at least pointing us in the right direction after dropping us off would have been helpful. It felt like he was more concerned about minimizing his own driving than about our group’s comfort or convenience. He also drove a bit too fast, especially considering the rainy weather. With elderly people and young children in our group, we expected more care — like choosing sheltered or nearer drop-off spots. Overall, the service lacked thoughtfulness and felt quite indifferent.
