Hiroshima Historical Highlights 4-Hour Private Tour

We loved the tour and even the order of the tour was perfectly planned out. Should be mentioned, the tour guide does not know perfect english but has the ability and made the effort to communicate properly at all times, very talkative and extremely friendly. Knows all the facts and curiosities around the place and was happy to answer any questions. Kept making stops to hydrate and go to the restroom.

Highly recommend our guide Masa, she was very knowledgeable, helpful, kind and an overall lovely lady who ensured our tour was a complete success. This tour is the highlight of our trip to Japan.

Our guide Yoshiko was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. She was so easy to speak to and we learned a lot from her. She has so much energy too! I would completely recommend this walking tour…especially with Yoshiko san.

We had the pleasure of having Yuki for our tour around Hiroshima. From the beginning, communication with Yuki was amazing and she was waiting for us on arrival from the train. We had a lovely time exploring and hearing the history from Yuki and also enjoyed a lovely lunch together for Okonomiyaki - Yuki was also amazing and very patient with our energetic toddler! Couldn’t recommend the tour more highly!

Masa, our guide met me at the hotel and off I went on the most informative, accessible and interesting tour of my whole trip. The guide was exceptional, she covered all my questions and shared some local insights. The 4 hours fly by in the blink of an eye. this was a most interesting tour covering the horrific events of August 1945 and also seeing the Castle and finishing up in the beautiful japanese garden. if you only have time for one tour in hiroshima, make it this one. you cannot go wrong. Great tour, so much to learn about Hiroshima. The tour guide Yoshiko made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour. Also heled us with public transportation (as we are elderly). Overall a great tour and we will surely recommend.

we had a really fantastic time with our guide Yoshiko. We booked this tour as a last minute decision and were so happy that we did. Masa was an excellent local tour guide who was communicative from the start and was flexible around our own preferences. She also took us to places we didn’t know, and also helped us plan for the rest of our day (after the tour). In the Peace Museum, she gave us extra information (including from her own family perspectives) and was kind when we found ourselves emotional at the compelling and powerful stories of tragedy and resilience.
