What to expect
Sail out to sea with us and head to Penghu's most mysterious and pristine southern waters! From the romantic Twin-Hearts Stone Weir and ancient settlements frozen in time to the legendary and beautiful Blue Cave, the Penghu Southern Islands hopping day tour will take you to collect the most classic scenic spots in one day!
Qimei Island Must-visit attractions: Twin-Hearts Stone Weir, Little Taiwan, Wangfu Stone The southernmost island of Penghu, named after a tragic and beautiful historical legend. When you come here, you must ride a motorcycle along the winding coastline, overlooking the romantic “Twin-Hearts Stone Weir” and the lifelike “Little Taiwan” sea-eroded platform.
Wangan Island Must-visit attractions: Huazhai Settlement (Zhongshe Village), Tiantai Mountain, Green Turtle Conservation Center Compared to the romance of Qimei, Wangan has an added simplicity of quiet years. It boasts the most well-preserved traditional Han Chinese settlement in Taiwan, “Huazhai Settlement.” Walking through the alleys built with coral reef “Laogu Stone” and red bricks, it feels like traveling back to a fishing village a hundred years ago. Climbing to the island’s highest peak, “Tiantai Mountain,” not only offers an unbeatable sea view but also allows you to search for the legendary footprints of the immortal Lu Dongbin.
Xiji Islet Blue Cave Must-visit attractions: Cruising the beautiful Blue Cave, magnificent columnar basalt ※This tour is a boat trip for distant viewing and cruising. The Blue Cave is located on Xiji Islet, which is currently uninhabited, and locals call it “Zao Long.” It is a naturally formed sea cave, where the crystal-clear water reflects a breathtaking and dreamy Tiffany blue, complemented by the surrounding towering and straight black columnar basalt. It is Penghu’s most unforgettable mysterious blue.
Southern Four Islands National Park Must-visit attractions: Dongji Islet, Xiji Islet, Dongyuping, Xiyuping Taiwan’s newest and most secluded marine national park. Due to difficult transportation and low development, it preserves the ultimate coral reef terraces and rich ecology, known as “God’s Aquarium.”

Reviews
Reviews summaryOn Qimei Island, we chose to take the bus. It was a spacious, air-conditioned coach, which was very comfortable. We had 15-30 minutes at each scenic spot, which was plenty of time to take photos, and the tour was very efficient. The bus driver also acted as a tour guide, providing commentary while driving. Please note that this tour is not designed for foreigners and commentary is only provided in Chinese. As a Japanese speaker with only enough Chinese to understand meeting times, I was still able to participate in the tour without any issues. Seating on the ferry is open, and when traveling between islands, it's first-come, first-served again. Arriving earlier than the designated meeting time allows you to choose your preferred seat.
Deyi Yacht helped us upgrade to Qimei and Blue Cave cruises for free (we originally booked Qimei Wangan). Tour guide Xiao Liu was very serious and professional in guiding us, and even helped us take photos. The travel experience was very good👍Except for the drizzle at the beginning which was a pity, but in Dongji Walking on the island, the weather is cool and quite comfortable. The blue hole is not blessed by sunlight, so it is a pity that it is not so shiny. Cruise on multiple islands, and watch terns up close (when feeding cloves, Xiao Liu asked everyone to throw them into the sea, not into the air, because throwing them up is like playing with terns, which goes against the laws of nature. I I think this concept is good). Because it rained in the morning, we temporarily changed to take a tour bus in Qimei. It turned out that it was sunny when we arrived in Qimei. We couldn't stop at every point as we wanted, but it was good to take the car and enjoy the air conditioning.
I don't think there were enough people for the tour I chose. In the morning, I was told at the counter that I couldn't go to Wang'an and instead went to the Blue Cave and other islands. I got off the boat at Dongji Island and Chimei (Double Heart Stone) and explored Dongji Island on foot (about 1 hour with a guide) and Chimei Island by bus (about 2 hours). Both islands were more beautiful than expected! The island with the Blue Cave and other strangely shaped cliffs could be seen from the boat, and the sight of a flock of seagulls catching fish in the sea at the end was also spectacular! I was the only Korean and couldn't understand Chinese, but it wasn't a problem at all for me to explore the island. The guide uses a translator to guide you through the process (thank you), and above all, the photos are a work of art!! I've been on tour several times in different countries, but there was usually an atmosphere where the speaker was just asking for anything. However, the guide here carefully takes pictures one by one. But that's huge! So, I took a picture at each view point every time📷👍 Yesterday, I came in from Kaohsiung by boat and was in a hurry to look for a tour that could be booked for the evening. There wasn't much available at that time, so I just chose the tour, and it was a very good choice!! Thank you for giving us a great tour from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.🇹🇼💙
It was a great day for a trip and the waves were calm! The Deyi yacht tour guide AB paired up and gave a very detailed introduction to the scenery, views, geology and culture of each island, including the Dongji Island Lighthouse, Lobster Island, Blue Cave, Qimei, tern viewing... and other itineraries. Because of the perfect combination of time and place, I was able to see and experience them all. I really enjoyed this trip! Next time I want to go to Qimei to enjoy a few nights quietly, to see the white sand and waves, the sea and sky, and the rugged and majestic basalt.
We were delighted to join the Deyu Yacht "Penghu Island Hopping Day Tour." Our Group B tour guide provided detailed introductions to Penghu's local customs and history, and proactively helped our group take photos. On the return trip, the terns, who seemed to be eagerly awaiting our arrival, offered a lively and interesting experience as we fed them small fish for an afternoon snack. We give a five-star recommendation to Deyu Yacht! The cabin and restrooms were clean and tidy, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The itinerary was well-planned and the timing was perfectly managed.
The onboard guide provided professional introductions to the history and culture of Dongjiyu, Xijiyu, Qimei, and various uninhabited islands. The seagull feeding was a memorable experience for the children. The timing for the Blue Cave on Xiyu was perfect, with the sunlight beautifully illuminating the cave. This was a fantastic voyage.
Excellent 👍 Guide Xu is delicated, passionate and fun. We enjoy islands hopping itinerary. blue cave experience is remarkable. be prepared to try a little and gear up for sun heat. Recommended to all.
It's truly worth the trip, just as those who have experienced it firsthand have said. For a relaxed atmosphere and a comfortable travel experience, I researched different boat companies' vessel types and reviews before departing and chose this company. The service was excellent, with plenty of staff and guides, and they were all very attentive throughout the trip. Staff continuously maintained the cleanliness of the restrooms on the boat. This time, I upgraded to the Qimei Blue Cave plus the Southern Four Islands tour, opting for a tour bus in Qimei. I will definitely choose this company again when planning a trip for my family in the future.
It was a fantastic experience! We had a detailed tour guide and a professional photographer. The entire itinerary was rich and fulfilling, yet still allowed for plenty of free time. Riding bikes with the guide to explore Qimei Island and Jidong Island was truly wonderful. Although it was sunny, plenty of ice water was provided. We're very grateful to all the staff for giving us such a great day trip.
The Blue Grotto is beautiful, the scenery is stunning, and the guide provided very detailed explanations. However, it was very hot, so remember to wear sunscreen. The boat was quite rocky, so be sure to take motion sickness medication. Feeding the terns was a lot of fun, and the local ice cream was delicious.
