I didn't know what to expect with this tour but I was pleasanty surprised. VPT tours was easily reachable and the group was relatively smaller since apparently this is not a usual/popular tour route. If you want to really go into history and the arts this is a very good stop. Our guide Elena was very helpful. I really loved this tour.
We booked the tour on Thursday and were surprised to find out it was just the two of us when we arrived on Saturday – an entire bus for only us! Eventually, some Mexican travelers joined us, making it four people total on a large bus. Our tour leader, Ana, explained everything to the best of her ability, and even though she wasn't entirely clear on the history, we were still very grateful to her. VPC Travel Agency doesn't cancel tours due to low numbers; they still provided a guided tour for just four people, which was really great!
I highly recommend this half-day trip, it’s so worth it, especially the Valley of the Fallen, you must visit it if you have time.
