Tokyo City has been collecting accommodation tax since October 2002. The tax standard is levied on a per person per night basis based on the accommodation amount. The accommodation fee for each night is 100 yen per person per night for accommodation fees above 10000 yen, and 200 yen per person per night for accommodation fees above 15000 yen. Some room rates do not include accommodation tax, and guests need to pay the front desk separately. The specific information will be subject to the hotel's notification.
