This place had probably the best thing… bread and cakes for free as that kept me from going out to spend money in the evening on a sandwiches. Other than that the staff were friendly enough and the room was okay but I kept finding hairs on the bed along with the grey thing at the bottom of the blanket covered in them. So I just threw that on the floor as it really put me off using the bed, so I just slept on top of the covers.

My party's stay at Hotel Resol Ueno was great! We stayed for 7 nights, and on the 4th day they did a thorough cleaning of the rooms, otherwise every day our towels, trash, and waters got replaced. This worked for us as that was mainly what we wanted restocked daily anyway. The rooms are small compared to western hotels, but luckily the beds had ample space underneath to store luggage. Staff are friendly, room is well-kept and has good A/C for these summer months, and the location is great, just steps away from Ueno Station which is a major transit hub in Tokyo. All in all, you can't go wrong with a stay here!

Hotel staff were really helpful and nice attitude during my stay. Hotel is really close to Ueno station and you want to head towards the signs for the Iriya exit, really well connected station to get you to most of the main Tokyo areas. Plenty eating and shopping options close to the hotel. Reception area of the hotel is nice and welcoming with the lifts really close to the entrance. The room was well maintained and typical Tokyo size which I expected so the suitcase had to be stored under the bed to give you space when you're in the room. The bathroom is decent enough size though with a big deep tub, it's not so tight in the bathroom like some other hotels where the toilet is practically joined to the bath. Cleaning is every 3 days which I like, less disruption to the room when you're out. You leave out the used towels and rubbish bag when you leave the room every day and they'll hang fresh towels, water, and bin bag on the door for when you return later. As mentioned, I like this and reception will help you with anyway in between anyway. Would I stay again, yes, things that could be better though: -No safe in the room was a surprise -Would be lovely to be able to cast or stream on the tv, it's nice to watch your own shows for an hour in the room having been out all day -Some extra shelf room in the bathroom, the existing shelf is a narrow so soon fills up with your toiletries -A few extra hangers, only 4 in the room

Si se busca un hotel que reúna todas las condiciones, sin duda Resol Ueno es uno de ellos. Desde la amabilidad del personal, la limpieza, las instalaciones totalmente usables en cualquier hora y momento, hasta los amenities en la recepción es la opción más increíble para hospedarse en Tokio. A pasos de la estación Ueno y del shopping Atre, posee hasta un laundry, que es muy bienvenido en viajes largos.

Very conveniently located near the Ueno station. The staff were great. They have amenities like toothpaste, razor, hair care and skin care products in the lobby that you help yourself to. Very nice and convenient. Only issue was that the room and bed are very small but this to be expected in Tokyo.

Loved this space! The staff were always friendly upon exiting or returning to the hotel, even with the language barrier. This hotel has a perfect location, right next to Ueno station and Ueno Park. Many konbinis available nearby as well. They had a vending machine in the lobby too, just tucked back a bit. Also, so many freebies! From Tokyo Soup stock to face masks, they had everything you may need. Leave the toiletries at home! Great quality shower soaps. The AC worked well, the pillows were comfortable, there was strong water pressure in the shower. I only wish they had rooms with space for three people so I could stay with my family in one room upon our next visit!

I regret my disappointment as soon as I arrived because the cherry blossom season issue raised the price so much that I couldn't cancel my choice. It was a perfect rip-off fee, so it was a stupid choice considering that the next 24 hours and 700 yen will be placed in the candidate site
