We came to Xi'an, China for a trip with our parents, and the Mt. Huashan day tour is something we will never forget for the rest of our lives! We took the cable car up and hiked down the West Peak to North Peak route. It was more thrilling than any scary amusement park ride, and the scenery looking down from Mt. Huashan simply cannot be captured in photos or words! Make sure to visit while you are still young, though please note that the difficulty level is quite high!

I climbed Huashan via the West Peak and descended from the North Peak. If you were to go independently, you would have to take a train from Xi'an, but this tour is great because the price is comparable to taking the train. It's very convenient since the shuttle bus picks you up near the hotel. The guide was extremely kind and gave a great explanation of the trip in Chinese on the way to Huashan by bus. I listened to the explanation using the Google Translate app's simultaneous interpretation feature. The guide assisted us via WeChat chat until the tour ended. The chat was in Chinese, but using WeChat's translation feature allowed me to translate it into Korean immediately. When I had questions, I used the Google Translate app to translate them into Chinese for chatting. I took the cable car up to the West Peak, then visited the West Peak, South Peak, East Peak, Central Peak, and North Peak in that order, and descended via the North Peak cable car. (The guide does not climb the mountain with you; they wait at the parking lot.) After descending, we arrived at the parking lot around 6:00 PM and returned to downtown Xi'an by bus. On the way back, they drop you off near the Bell Tower station in the city center. The scenery of Huashan was truly magnificent, and to see all five peaks, you have to repeatedly go up and down numerous stairs. Fortunately, you descend via stairs for a long time all the way to the final North Peak. If we had done the reverse and climbed from the North Peak to the West Peak, it would have been so exhausting that we wouldn't have been able to properly see all five peaks. There are many stairs, but the scenery is truly beautiful, so I highly recommend visiting at least once.

Μετά τους Πήλινους Στρατιώτες, μας πήγαν στο Παλάτι Χουατσίνγκ. Όταν φτάσαμε στο πάρκινγκ του Παλατιού Χουατσίνγκ, ρωτήσαμε αν υπήρχε κάπου να φάμε μεσημεριανό και, χωρίς κανένα παράπονο, βγήκαν από το πάρκινγκ για να μας δείξουν ένα φθηνό και νόστιμο μέρος.

Tour was well organized, no issues with communication and pick-ups. We were only in Xi'an for 2 days and really wanted to see both 华山 and the terracotta warriors. I'm sure it can be done for much cheaper on your own, but to cover both locations in one day, you'd need to plan it perfectly and not miss a single connection. If you don't have time to plan it all out exactly, this tour is perfect. Just let them handle it and travel worry-free. Tour includes a private driver for the day, partial fees at the mountain (cable cars and return bus down the mountain are not included), and a tour guide at the terracotta warriors (who was also great!).

Tour guide Wu knows the routes well. He takes good photo and videos too. Beautiful scenary if not for the drizzle as fog came n views became less visible. The driver was waiting for us after the tour. Able to rest in the car and not worry about next stop except for hotel. On the whole would recommend this tour w guide Wu as he knew routes and shared stories and history to make the hike interesting and memorable.

Οι ιστορίες του ξεναγού Jiang ήταν εξαιρετικά συναρπαστικές, σαν να μας ταξίδευε πίσω στον χρόνο. Το πρόγραμμα ήταν ομαλό και απρόσκοπτο, με τον ρυθμό να είναι άψογα προσαρμοσμένος. Τόσο οι τοπικές γεύσεις όσο και τα επιλεγμένα αξιοθέατα ήταν εκπληκτικά. Άξιζε τον κόπο, ήταν ένα ιδιωτικό ταξίδι υψηλής ποιότητας, αφιερωμένο αποκλειστικά στην απόλαυση.
