I really enjoyed my experience and will do it again the next time I am in Kyoto. I think its a great price for the costumes, makeup and photoshoot. you pay extra for each image you want edited and they will email it to you within 2 weeks. if you have time and want a unique souvenir and experience, do this. its worth your time and money. staff are patient and friendly. they will use google translate to communicate with you.

I wanted to try this makeover for a long time and I’m happy I finally did! The staff is very nice and friendly so the whole makeover and photo shoot went smoothly.

01/27/2026 10am: Amazing experience! Every staff member was so nice and friendly! Hair, make up, and dressing was done in a quick and efficient manner! The photographer was amazing! She's made me feel so comfortable and was an excellent guide for posing. She's made my pictures come out so nice and professional. Highly recommended activity!

They were very nice and helpful as English speakers. just like all the reviews , they do charge per photo and then there’s many upgrades for hair, eyelashes and outfit changes. we did an upgrade with the hair piece and it was worth it. I would say if you’re doing a couples shoot, get a couple of men’s photos. we got 5 to choose from and would have liked more options. Absolutely on me to have asked, they were so kind and would’ve helped me. overall , it was a lovely choice. 2 blocks away from Kyoto Tower and on the third floor of a building. can’t wait to get my pictures , they would take about 2 weeks but we did get about 5 minutes to take selfies on our phones so those are the ones I’m sharing here.

El personal muy amable, las risas no faltaron~ ☺️ Te dan a completar un formulario, en el cual te muestran fotos de los servicios que ofrecen, para que se adapte mas a tu gusto ( vestuario, peinado, maquillaje, etc.) Y si no sabes como posar, te orientan. Después te dejan ver y elegir las fotos, que seran envíadas por correo electrónico en un tiempo prudente. Sumado ello, una vez terminada la sesión de fotos, te dan un ratito para que puedas tomarte selfies con el vestuarioy maquillaje. Super recomendable ya sea solo o en compañía!!

Fun experience. There are add ons for the experience, I did the nails, & eyelashes. They were able to talk with a translator so communicating is easy. They were able to style my hair, so I think that was a plus. The photographer posed us (my husband & I) & spoke little English, but she was super sweet & patient with us. I recommend this experience. I chose to buy all the photos, but I think it was priced fairly overall. The photos were sent via email the next day.

hermosa experiencia, las chicas muy amables, maquillan muy bien y las fotos hermosas, si no sabes posar la fotógrafa te dice cómo hacerlo y las fotos quedan increíbles, recomiendo al 100 esta experiencia

Incredible experience. All the staff members were very nice. Sirjana is a very talented makeup artist, I never felt so beautiful ! I highly recommend. Please be aware that the photos are not included in the price, but they have very resonable prices and packages. It’s a souvenir worth every penny. expérience:

The staff is so friendly and able to communicate with foreigners well. The access is very convenient and near the kyoto station.
