Πραγματική πρωινή προπόνηση σούμο στο Τόκιο με έμπειρο δημοσιογράφο

Μια τόσο ενδιαφέρουσα εμπειρία και όχι κάποιου είδους ψεύτικη τουριστική παράσταση. Πραγματικά είδαμε παλαιστές σούμο να προπονούνται και να παλεύουν μεταξύ τους σε έναν από τους μεγαλύτερους στάβλους. Επίσης, ο ξεναγός ήταν δημοσιογράφος σε εφημερίδα σούμο και έχει πολλές γνώσεις και πάθος για το σούμο, λάτρεψα όλες τις ιστορίες που μοιράστηκε για το σούμο και την εμπειρία του.

Αυτή είναι σίγουρα η καλύτερη εμπειρία μου στην Ιαπωνία κατά τη διάρκεια 3 εβδομάδων. Αξίζει κάθε δεκάρα που ξόδεψα! Όλοι οι παλαιστές σούμο είναι τόσο ελκυστικοί με τον τρόπο που προπονούνται εκείνο το πρωί. Ο Setsu είναι σίγουρα το αστέρι του πρωινού, με όλο του το πάθος και την υπομονή του σε χαρούμενη διάθεση, μας οδήγησε από τη μία έκπληξη στην άλλη. Συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα αυτή την περιήγηση σε όλους τους φίλους μου αλλά και σε όσους ενδιαφέρονται για αυτή την περιήγηση. Απλά προχωρήστε χωρίς δισταγμό, θα καταλάβετε το τρέχον συναίσθημά μου. Both guides were very knowledgeable and helpful sharing not only about Sumo but Tokyo in general. Watching practice was an amazing opportunity. The Takasago stable is very talented!

Brilliant! The tour offered a really unique opportunity to watch professional sumo wrestlers during their morning practice. When I started to search for a sumo tour I had naively expected to have many options to watch actual sumo wrestlers in Tokyo, but found that almost all the options are actually shows put on for tourists which are not real sumo wrestlers so I was very pleased to find this tour. Now just a week later, we are watching the Grand Sumo tournament on the television cheering for the sumo wrestlers of Takasago stable - the same sumo wrestlers we were watching in person! If you want an authentic experience, this tour is perfect!

These guys are the real deal—intense, powerful, and surprisingly agile, with real action (we saw bloody noses and possibly a broken tooth). The guides are professional, welcoming, and eager to share their expert insights and stories before and after the tour. I’ll be talking about this one for a long time! It’s an early start and I found the seating uncomfortable, but maybe that’s just me. 5-star experience and the highlight of our 5-day trip to Tokyo. Higly recommend.

If you like or are curious about the world of sumo, this tour is wonderful. It reflects a spiritual and sporting side of Japan that I deeply admire, and the guides were charming, sharing curious and very interesting facts. Not only during the visit to the sumo stable, but also in the following tour, the visit to the museum, the Ryogoku neighborhood in Tokyo itself, and so on. It was a wonderful activity that goes beyond typical tourist spots and allows you to appreciate the incredible dedication of these professional wrestlers. Thank you!

Truly an unforgettable experience!Watching sumo training up close was both thrilling and eye opening. We really appreciated that it offered a genuine window into the sumo world in a dignified manner. There was no performing or entertaining for visitors, just a respectful glimpse into the wrestler’s daily routines. The atmosphere at the sumo stable was authentic. Communication prior to our visit was good and our guides were knowledgeable and friendly, explaining the traditions and training with care. The wrestlers themselves were impressive, so strong, agile, and focused. This experience is perfect for anyone visiting Tokyo who wants a unique cultural adventure beyond the usual tourist spots. Being able to step inside the stable and observe the wrestlers' daily lives and training from such a close distance not only satisfied my curiosity but also provided professional insights and a deep emotional connection to the stable.The tour guide was incredibly professional and clearly a hardcore sumo enthusiast themselves. He shared so much sumo knowledge and captivating backstories. It was truly an outstanding tour and a fantastic guiding experience!

My 20 year old son and me went to this event. We did not know what to expect but it surpassed any expectations we had. The endless hard work that these Sumo Wrestlers put in 6 days a week for years in incredibly difficult. The history and facts that are shared with us on the tour after the training ends was a bonus we weren’t expecting. We learned so much about why someone chooses to become a Sumo Wrestler and what rules apply to the wrestler if they choose to take this career path. It’s discipline on another level. our tour guide was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable.
