I had an amazing experience on the Splendour of Colonial Singapore tour. Our guide, Ping from On-A-Roll-Tour, was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Through vivid storytelling, Ping connected Singapore’s historical background with its architecture in a way that made the city’s colonial heritage come alive. The tour was well-paced, informative, and truly helped me appreciate the historical layers behind the beautiful buildings. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see Singapore from a richer perspective!

Η Ping, η ξεναγός μας, πρόσθεσε μια προσωπική πινελιά μέσα από χιουμοριστικές και συναρπαστικές αφηγήσεις ιστοριών και εμπειριών της οικογένειάς της. Our guide Ping was professional, passionate and thoughtful, always will to answer questions. Really enjoyed the tour, the stories that made buildings meaningful, and the lunch by the river so that we got to know other members of the tour. Some spaces were not open on the day but didn't affect the charm of the tour. Though it was hot and rained a bit, Ping organised our route in and out buildings so we got plenty of shelter, water, toilet break, and lovely photos on the way. Would be good to bring water bottle and umbrella. Recommend to anyone interested in having a peek into history, architecture, and how they would connect to the Singapore we see today.

Despite being a walking tour, it was thoughtfully paced, with several moments to sit, take in the stunning colonial architecture, and absorb the rich stories Ping shared. This balance of walking and reflection made the experience not only educational but also relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a tour that combines history, culture, and incredible storytelling, this is the one. And if you’re lucky enough to have Ping as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable journey.
