Remember to arrive at the check-in area early. There's a parking lot and gas station right next to it, which is very convenient! After checking in, you can browse the gift shop. After gathering, there will be an explanation and you'll put on your equipment. Remember to wear sunscreen!

Before departure, the supplier will ask you to put your own backpack into a special waterproof bag. It is recommended to keep it as light as possible. Remember to bring water. We stayed on the ice for a long time. It was windy on the ice, so it is recommended to wear a woolen hat. Some experiences will have water droplets falling, so put on the supplier's waterproof jacket hood. This activity is very worthwhile and has a high cost-performance ratio. We happened to see them building a new stopping platform. The glacier moves forward several centimeters every day, so they have to build a new platform every few months.

The glacier hike experience was excellent 👍. The equipment was complete; you only need to bring your own sunglasses and beanie. The explanation was detailed, and they help take care of the children's clothing and safety. Most of the group members were Chinese, and they were well-behaved and the group was always orderly. The guide was also very patient and enthusiastic, gave detailed explanations, and tried his best to explore interesting routes, finding several blue ice caves. We also drank glacier water. The hiking time was long enough, and the difficulty was not high. My son said he didn't have enough fun. But a reminder: Fox Glacier and the other two glaciers are far apart. If departing from Tekapo, it's more suitable to go to Tasman Glacier. When booking, be sure to navigate the route and plan accordingly.

The glacier scenery is truly spectacular. The explanation, shuttle service, helicopter ride, and guided tour were all very professional and smooth. Our guide was a young, handsome, and adorable young man.

There are many places to view glaciers on New Zealand's South Island, but Fox Glacier is definitely one to recommend. After checking in, you can store your belongings, pick up your gear, and listen to a thorough safety briefing. After the briefing, you'll take a shuttle to the airport to board a helicopter. About ten minutes later, you'll arrive at Fox Glacier itself. After walking on it for about three hours, you can't help but marvel at the beauty of nature, but also feel a sense of regret at how quickly the glacier is disappearing, making you cherish this trip even more.

This is an experience of touring Cook Strait and the Southern Alps, as well as Fox, Franz Josef, and Tasman Glaciers. The helicopter landing on the snow was not possible due to the weather conditions at the landing site, so we took a light aircraft tour as an alternative. The scenery was so beautiful that I highly recommend doing it at least once. The safe flight and the rich explanation of the terrain and landscape are the highlights. My child loved it very much.
