Things to do in Chinatown Kuala Lumpur

Very much enjoyed this experience. My guide took the time to understand what my interests were and highlight those on the tour. We engaged in great conversation and thoroughly enjoyed her take on the local food and culture. She knew about some great “local” places and food to try. Absolutely a 5 Star experience.

This was a really great tour for our first trip to Kuala Lumpur! Our tour guide Alvin was great! He was punctual, friendly, and the tour was really interesting. We especially loved his tips on where to stand to take the best photos at each site. We also liked how flexible he was with how much time we spent at each site (for example, we didn’t stay that long at Batu Caves because we chose not to climb the steps and it started raining so we chose to leave earlier). He also shared information about Kuala Lumpur and other places in Malaysia which we found really interesting. We felt that the price was an excellent value especially for a private tour with pick up and drop off from our hotel. We also felt that the tour had a great balance of types of stops between photo stops and other stops and also cultural stops like Batik and religious stops like the mosque. We definitely recommend this tour and our tour guide Alvin!

We had such a great time with our driver, Ganesh! 😊 He was incredibly knowledgeable about Kuala Lumpur and gave us so many helpful tips on how to get around and walk efficiently, which helped us save time and see more places. This food tour with Danny was absolutely wonderful! His passion for food, the city and its history really shines through the tour. We were lucky to be his only customers on the tour, and he went above and beyond his way to ensure it was a perfect start to our trip. He was very accommodating of our preferences and showed us places we would likely have missed if we went on our own. Would definitely recommend if you’re equipped with good walking shoes and a hunger for slice of what KL has to offer.

This service is highly recommended, particularly for business travelers visiting Malaysia. However, it is advisable to avoid booking on Fridays due to increased pedestrian traffic and potential congestion. Mr. Rahman provided exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism and understanding when we experienced a slight delay.

Our tour guide was James! He was really informative, and did really well trying to relate our own culture (Filipino) to Malaysian culture. He was also able to answer all of our questions, and we actually appreciated Malaysia more after our tour. James, salamat sa buhay mo!

We had the best time during this tour. It was organized, senior-friendly and very informative. The pace from one place to another was just appropriate. We enjoyed every stop and learned a lot about Malaysia. The driver was also kind and accommodating.

Many thanks to our guide, Tommy, for arranging our itinerary, taking us to the local Wen Dong Market to taste Musang King durian, and to the local favorite Mushroom Garden Restaurant for lunch. Throughout the trip, the guide thoughtfully reminded us of the taboos at each attraction, ensuring we followed all relevant instructions while exploring.
