Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion tours

Enjoyed the tour. Was debated if I should go on my own but decided to go on this for convenience. Turned out to be a small group of under 10 pax so it was great! Our guide, Richard was attentive & friendly & as I was on my own, he volunteered to take many pictures for me. I also told him I’m learning Korean & he gladly spoke Korean to me so I could practice. The tour’s a good pace (expect a lot of walking tho!) & Richard also shared a lot of history about the places. Highly recommend!

We had originally booked a slightly different itinerary, but the tour changed and there were not enough participants on our original date. The organisers were very efficient and communicated the changes and our options clearly. We and another pair ended up with a private van and driver, who dropped us at all the pick-up points on the itinerary. The whole process was very easy. The itinerary and meeting point instructions were very clear. We even had a K-drama list sent to us on Google Maps so we could find the locations ourselves, which was so helpful. We had almond lattes in the cafe which they filmed Sol's house in Lovely Runner, and the small shop they also filmed at had some Lovely Runner merchandise as well. Starfield Library in Suwon is much better than the one in Gangnam, and we had plenty of time to shop in the department store as well. There was also a reenactment at the temporary palace near the fortress which was great. Very impressed with the tour organisers!

TG and the tour group were amazing. everyone’s friendly, easy to get along with even as a solo traveller. he brought us to see green cherry blossom, royal cherry blossom and the standard ones. lunch recommendation tasted great. best part of my trip so far. TG will accommodate to the group and helped us take photos. rly enjoyed the tour! cherry blossom wise the standard ones mostly fell, the royal/green ones haven’t fully bloomed yet, so first week of April or end Apr might be better to see either at its peak. overall will recommend! like it better than the other tour I booked (also klook, also tour story, but different guide)

Our tour guide was Philip, and the tour was absolutely fantastic! It was very diverse and interesting, with plenty of time at every stop to explore and enjoy the sights. What made the tour truly special was Philip himself. He shared so many fascinating stories and interesting facts, kept us laughing throughout the day, and made sure we were never bored with his enthusiastic and entertaining personality. On top of that, he took amazing photos of us at every beautiful spot, giving us wonderful memories to take home. We had an incredible day and would 100% recommend this tour, especially with Philip as your guide! Thank you, Philip, for making this experience so unforgettable!

I had such a great experience on the Suwon tour! Peter Pan was an amazing guide—very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He explained everything clearly and made the whole tour feel very smooth and enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and the tour was really worth it. I learned a lot while having a great time. This trip was outstanding, largely thanks to our tour guide, Eva from VIP Travel. From the moment she introduced herself to the end of the tour, she was incredibly helpful. She made the experience fascinating by sharing the history and interesting facts about every stop. These days, I’ve been going through a difficult time. I felt like I couldn’t find my way, so I decided to go somewhere I could feel comfortable and clear my mind. First, we went to Bongeunsa Temple. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place. I learned how to pray to Buddha, and I even did three bows I felt like I was letting go of all the bad things I had been holding onto. It was really good for clearing my mind. After that, we went to Just Be Temple in Hongdae. It was very hip and modern, so I thought it was a place for young people. We did three types of meditation: breathing, walking, and listening. It helped me calm down and clear my mind. I also had a chance to talk with a monk. I told her about my worries, and she just listened and smiled. She also gave me some tea. I felt much lighter after talking about everything. I really appreciate our guide, too. He was very kind and helped me a lot. He made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience.

Thanks to the delightful guidance of Yu-san, also known as Tama-chan, two hours flew by in an instant. At the end, she accompanied us by bus to Hwaseomun Gate, where we were able to enjoy a projection mapping show. This was my second visit to Hwaseong Fortress, but Yu-san showed us places I hadn't noticed before, and areas I would never have ventured into without her guidance, making it a very meaningful experience. If I have the chance, I would definitely love to have her guide us again. Thank you, Yu-san.
