Ko Kai (Chicken Island) tours

I selected the speedboat and for me it was good choice - speedboats are smaller with smaller groups. a big more choppy but no issues. the trip was organized well with pick ups and drop offs, decent dinner. our guide was really good and clear about when we needed to come back to the boat. I found that stops were long enough - even though I could use a bit more snorkeling time (but that is personal preference). overall very good experience.

This was a great experience! I loved seeing the islands even when it was raining. The ocean was so clear. First off, the ride share was a bit late but I had messaged the organizers on Line and they answered right away. when we got there, we had some free snacks and coffee for us which was great! I would recommend to eat something before it will feel like a long time before you get food. Every island felt nicely paced. Most of the islands are just for sight seeing so you get about 1 hour to 45 minutes on each island which is perfect. The guide (Dunkin) was amazing and offered to take money photos. Towards the end of the trip, because we are in monsoon season, the ocean got really scary. I honestly was fearing for my life a little bit but the captain was an expert. I did fly out of my seat but it might have been the most funny and exhilarating part of the trip. If you are coming during the rainy season, I think this is the safer pick since phi phi island might have worst ocean weather.

beautiful boat… we were lucky to have the boat just for six people for the entire boat (almost private) plenty of food and drinks, staffs are very kind and polite. islands and stops are beautiful. very instagram photos experience!! we’ll do it again whenever we’re in Krabi. love it!

We had an absolutely fantastic day with our family on the private luxury longtail boat tour to the Hong Islands. The entire trip was perfectly organized, from the convenient hotel pick-up to the return. This made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable, even with children. The atmosphere throughout the day was wonderful, and the food provided was delicious. A special thank you goes to our amazing crew. Our guides, Buss and Mook, were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Our captain, Sun, navigated the boat expertly to all the stunning locations and back safely. We highly recommend this tour. It is especially suitable for families with kids, as the excellent organization ensures the day is full of adventure without being too tiring. We also had the opportunity for snorkelling on each of our stopa, which made the whole trip even more fun for the children. It was a truly memorable experience.

Booked trip 8hrs before, super convenient booking process and received email right after. They will direct pickup at hotel and staff will Whatsapp when driver picking you up. My trip was on 22/6/2025, our tour guides were Kuku (sorry if I mispelled) and Tony. Both were super friendly and very helpful. Trip was also fun despite were soaked bcs of big tidal we had (no complaint tho) we completed all 4 island visits. Also punctual with time. Thank you for the amazing trip and team!!! Very recommended to book their services.

If only you could give 6 stars ⭐ What a great experience from pick up to drop off. The speedboat was the highlight; the best one, new, clean, around 20 to 25 people which was perfect. All the staff were amazing, lunch was amazing and a clean toilet included. We got to Maya early enough to avoid the huge crowds; super important and totally worth getting a speed boat. There's really nothing to fault, huge thank you 🙏🏻 to the Sunset Tours team 😎

It was such a beautiful and unforgettable experience. We feel truly grateful and blessed to have had Captain Booboo guiding us throughout the entire island trip. He went above and beyond—especially taking the extra effort to help us enjoy proper snorkeling at Chicken Island. If you get the chance, definitely look for him! Once in Krabi, you cannot miss visiting the Phi Phi Islands. We truly appreciated how this entire tour was conducted, and the information about each place was provided beforehand, which made it very easy for us to identify and connect with each location, take photographs, and create great memories. Maya Bay was the highlight of the entire tour; it is a beautiful and magnificent place to visit and capture some photos with family to create lasting memories. It is a very postcard-perfect location, and I believe you won't find anything like it anywhere else in the world. The rest of the islands, including Koh Phi Phi Don, where lunch was served, were also very nice. The arrangements were excellent. We definitely recommend everyone try this tour at least once. The rest of the islands, such as Ko Poda, Ko Tup, and Chicken Island, are also photograph worthy. Additionally, it is worth mentioning Bamboo Island, which is a very quiet and nice island, perfect for experiencing the Krabi atmosphere
