Things to do in Wat Phra Si Sanphet

I was guided by an experienced Thai-Chinese person who speaks Japanese. Besides learning about the historical background, it was great to have someone take photos for me, as my solo travel pictures tend to be mostly landscapes. Although it's the rainy season, it only drizzled occasionally, and there was no direct sunlight, making it comfortable. They even lent me an umbrella. On Sunday, the roads were clear, so we returned early. Lunch was a bit pricey, with tourist-level prices, but I didn't mind and enjoyed two beers with stir-fried morning glory in oyster sauce. Overall, it was a comfortable and good tour.

I booked this tour twice. First in 2023 with my husband, then in Aug 2026 with my mom. And like the first time, everything was well organized, and we had a great experience. Our driver and tour guide, Warin, was wonderful throughout the entire trip. He was very kind and informative. He shared interesting information about the places we visited and took very good care of us from start to finish. We appreciated his thoughtful touches, like providing free ice-cold water and lending us a hand fan because of the heat. Warin is also a great photographer! He took so many nice photos of us. Driver, tour guide, and photographer all in one! The itinerary was packed, but everything went smoothly. It was a great experience exploring attractions outside Bangkok. Special thanks to Warin for taking good care of us.

This was my first time in Bangkok, Thailand, and I wanted to do a day trip to Ayutthaya to see the historical sites and the zoo. I happened to see this tour and booked it. Today, when the tour started, there were no other travelers, just my friend and me. Our guide, Roy, and our driver, Joy, accompanied us to every attraction throughout the entire trip. There was absolutely no upselling, and they gave us plenty of free time. At key attractions, they explained things to us and even offered to take our photos! Most importantly, with the heatwave at 97°F (36°C), having an air-conditioned car was truly essential. Thank you! I hope anyone considering this tour will go ahead and book it! The zoo offers close encounters with animals, and the historical sites are magnificent. Highly recommended!

I was extremely pleased with this tour from start to finish. The itinerary and the sites were phenomenal and truly a must see for anyone coming to Thailand. Our guide Aoy is the one who really made it even better with amazing knowledge of every place we went to and the history and explanation for everything. I learned so much from Aoy I felt I received so much value out of it. Even beyond the sites, Aoy gave such good information and advice to everyone about all aspects of Thailand relevant for a tourist from food, customs, getting around, etc. The bus driver was also extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend this activity.

Toto was an amazing guide! She was very helpful, kind, and friendly throughout the entire tour. Since it was just me on the tour, she made me feel very comfortable and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. This was an excellent way to spend the day with a happy upbeat guide who spoke English well. My only complaint was being told to be at the pickup point by 7am for departure. The bus was loaded by 7.10am but we sat waiting until 8am when a sole passenger got on the bus. The bus trip portion of the trip was comfortable and when we got to Ayutthaya our guide did an excellent job of describing the ruins and their historical and religious significance. The boat trip back to Bangkok was excellent with a good smorgasbord lunch and a great bar for a relaxing drink while enjoying the scenery. The boat docks back near Chinatown so if you want you can extend your day by visiting there after a short walk.
