Sarawak Cultural Village tours

The trip was enriching and exciting. First hand experience at blow darting and trying out the different delicacies. Note: bring lots of small change of RM5 so that you can purchase the different delicacies at the different houses. Our guide, Mr Yusof was very informative! Oh, we also spotted Silver Langurs at the area. The performance at the theatre was so good!

The guide Saini is friendly and knowledgeable. The cultural trip allows us to understand the Sarawak culture better and deeper understanding of the tribe daily activities. This day trip combines the cultural village and orangutan observation which is better for travellers with limited number of days in Kuching. We are lucky to see 4 orangutans. Ruby the orangutan who didn’t appear for months came to the feeding platform. We also saw a young orangutan, Sem, who is old enough to venture out on her own away from her mother. It is advisable to bring portable fans and mosquito repellent as you may stand in hot sun for a couple of hours. There is a washroom at the orangutan observation area. You can choose not to take electric buggy ride and walk from entrance to observation area. Some parts are uphill which may be challenging. We opt for electric buggy ride as we have elderly and children with us. The orangutan shown in the picture is Ruby.

The arrangement for the whole trip is seamless. Company contacted us one day before the trip to confirm the the trip and briefed us on meeting time and place. Did not manage to see any dolphin but do spotted a crocodile. Saini the guide mentioned if we came at Jun period we would be able to spot migratory birds. The aun is blazing hot around 10:30am do bring some sunscreen and umbrella!The Lunch is good and tasty. There are four delicious dishes with a drink. The guide walked us thru the cultural village and explained the details in each of the houses belonging to each tribe.

The pickup from the hotel was on time. Good and safe driving. The guide was providing information along the way. The guide was entertaining. The pilot of the boat was good, safe driving. He took us to many different places. The guide explained what we were seeing along the way. We were able to spot a crocodile and get very close and many dolphins. we enjoyed our wetlands wildlife cruise, the pick up, the captain and the tour guide are all very friendly and professional. Our cruise trip was pleasant and informative, the captain and tour guide Sinne did their best to locate the wildlife for us. the driver took us to the better condition toilet the way back to our hotel which is most grateful. we had a great time especially see the unique fireflies for the first time in our lives. definitely recommend this tour.

A colorful bustle at the pier during check-in 😀, looks chaotic, but everything was well organized. Very interesting tour through mangroves, you see many animals (eagles, monkeys, and exotic fish), you should participate.

It was a great Tour I had in Malaysia. The Batu Caves was so amazing and challenging but it had a good historical background which interested me. The most I like was there in Genting Highlands which I did a lot much of fun. Thank you so much to our Tour Guide and I will really recommend this tour. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

our guide Chandran is very informative and very friendly. everything is well executed in our tour. he always ask us how long we want to stay in one place to get pictures or roam around. i quite hot but the place, tour, guide and the driver is all highly recommended.
