my ticket was for 2:30pm but I managed to get in at 12:30pm with my passport (as per usual practice in China). good luck & I hope u get in too! there were still tour groups entering at 4:30+ so it probably closes quite late

Had a great trip! Our guide, Xiao Hou, was knowledgeable and also managed to group and itinerary well. Just to note that those above 60 years old have their entrance fee waived, and are unable to ascend the hanging temples.

Transportation: The private tour for 3 people was a 5-seater SUV, which was very comfortable, and the vehicle was also very new! Itinerary: The itinerary was quite reasonable. Whenever there were changes or modifications needed along the way, the on-trip manager communicated and handled them promptly, making it a completely hassle-free experience! Accommodation: For our stay in Datong, we chose the Songtsam Hotel, and it was simply breathtaking!!!
