Damnoen Saduak Floating Market tours

Our guide, Nok, was a great guide! She was super helpful and friendly, and she’s very passionate in helping us in Chinese, taking us to secret spots for foodies, and telling us interesting facts about Thai culture and that of our destinations. The coconut sugar factory was super nice, with all natural coconut products for us to taste, and an actual Thai house for us to visit. The floating market is also quite nice but I’d prefer traditional boats instead of diesel boats because of the smell. The railway market though was a bit underwhelming, and you actually do not get to ride the train itself which would have been an even better experience imo. Overall, with the affordable price I do recommend this trip to anyone interested in less-touristy travel in central Thailand.

I think this price is excellent for a tour with a Japanese-speaking guide. This time, we were lucky enough to have a private tour with Japanese support just for my husband and me. Our guide, Kussuma, was fluent in Japanese, very knowledgeable, and above all, a wonderful and considerate person. Since my husband and I rarely take photos together, she skillfully took many pictures of us at various spots, and we even had breakfast together, which was a lot of fun. I highly recommend participating in this tour, as Maeklong and the Floating Market offer unique Thai experiences. After the tour, she also gave us advice for our subsequent sightseeing, making it a truly enjoyable day. Thanks to Kussuma, I've grown to love Thailand even more, and I hope to see her again next time! It was also reassuring that our hotel was near the meeting point, so we could use the restroom before the tour. This tour is truly highly recommended.

Wow, what a FANTASTIC day! We truly enjoyed every second. The guide was fantastic, providing excellent explanations everywhere and doing everything to make our day perfect. The driver was also superb! Every place we visited was dazzlingly beautiful and charming! The food at Bubble Forest was absolutely delicious! Because I wanted to see the famous railway market and floating market, and didn't want to do too much research on transportation, I chose this one-day tour to simplify transportation. This itinerary has several good points and points that can be better: 1. This group happened to have a tour guide who could speak both Chinese and English. He spoke Chinese without any accent, so it was ok for communication and asking questions. The driver drove very steadily. 2. This group takes the train to the train market, which is different from other groups who watch the train entering the station from the ground. However, there are also a lot of people on the train and there is no place to sit, so you can think about whether you want to experience this feeling or greet the train entering the station on the ground. 3. The stay at the floating market is three hours, which I originally thought was too long, but with a slow stroll and dinner, it's actually ok. Disadvantages: 1. The shuttle bus is a modified van, and the seats don't have seat belts. People who have concerns about safety should evaluate it. In addition, because it is a modified car, the air-conditioning doesn't feel very cold. 2. The time spent at the railway market is less than an hour (including the time for dinner), which I think is very short and I can't have a good stroll. 3. There is an activity of taking a boat to watch fireflies in the evening, which is quite special, but I took a half-hour boat ride to see the fireflies, and then rushed back by boat after not seeing them for 1 minute. This is... It is also worth mentioning that there will be traffic jams on the way back to Bangkok city, so please don't arrange other trips, because we arrived in Bangkok city an hour later than scheduled.

Visiting the Floating Market and the Railway Market was truly a rewarding experience and absolutely worth the price. The vibrant atmosphere, the colorful boats filled with fresh produce, and the unique way vendors sell right along the train tracks made the tour unforgettable. It’s not just sightseeing, it’s being immersed in the culture and daily life of the locals. Every moment felt authentic, exciting, and well worth it.

This is already my 3rd time to go to this market, but my first time booking via klook. We got upgraded to a tour with more stops, like the railway market. Our guide Tony made it very fun and he gave enough time at every stop. It doesn't feel rushed.

It went smoothly and was fun! We only have a few days in Thailand, and we want to take photos with giraffes (after all, they are really popular) and also want to go to Hua Hin. This day trip perfectly meets our expectations! After making the reservation on klook, I contacted AK customer service to order a giraffe photo. Not only did they help with the reservation, they also rearranged the route and time for us on the day, making everything go very smoothly and we got the dream photo of our lives! The driver picked us up at the hotel in advance. The car was very clean. When we wanted to go to the toilet, we could use Google Translate to communicate. Overall, it is highly recommended!
