Fantastic 5.0
Had an amazing time exploring Washington, DC and Philadelphia! The tour was a great way to see two historic cities in a short amount of time. From the iconic landmarks and monuments in DC to the historic streets and sites of Philadelphia, every stop was worth it. The itinerary was well-organized, the experience was smooth, and it was definitely a convenient way to explore both cities without having to plan everything on my own. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the East Coast, especially first-time travelers!

Fantastic 5.0
We had an amazing time at The Franklin Institute! It’s one of the best science museums we’ve visited, with so many interactive exhibits that kept both the kids and adults entertained for hours. The Giant Heart, space exhibits, and hands-on activities were our favorites. Everything was well organized, clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you’re visiting Philadelphia with family, this place is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. Highly recommended!

Great 4.0
The guide and the bus were awesome! they have combined the 1-day tour and 2-days tour into one group. as a result, I felt the itinerary has been compromised. Every stop we have only 10-20mins. The Amish country tour was very basic with a 10mins horse carriage ride around a field to see cows and chicken. Basic farm tour to see chicks, puppies, horses, cows, goats and 3 little pigs.

What to know before visiting Philadelphia

What to do in Philadelphia

Philadelphia is best known for Museums, Tours and Attraction passes, with Events & shows adding occasional highlights. Klook booking data shows museum visits and guided tours dominate across the year, while attraction passes are popular for multi-site days. Demand builds through spring into a strong summer peak in July, with a very quiet trough in March — plan whether you want lively streets or calmer galleries. Use Klook booking data to match your timing: quieter months suit leisurely museum time, while July brings the festival atmosphere and heavier local footfall.

When to visit Philadelphia

Summer is the busiest season: Klook booking data marks July as the clear peak and March as the quietest month. Prices move differently — the priciest typical bookings occurred in September, while August shows the lowest typical price — so crowds and costs don’t always line up. For lower prices and smaller crowds aim for March or August; for peak-season atmosphere pick July or September, accepting higher demand or higher typical prices. Choose between cheaper travel or festival buzz.

Month Demand Level Typical Price
January Quieter than usual USD 85
February Very quiet USD 59
March Very quiet USD 89
April About average USD 54
May Busier than usual USD 59
June About average USD 46
July Peak demand USD 70
August Busier than usual USD 39
September About average USD 145
October Quieter than usual USD 110
November Busier than usual USD 100
December About average USD 66

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Tips for travellers

Most travellers book only a day or two before travel on average, with some planners securing experiences around four days out; Klook booking data reflects this short lead time. That means there’s flexibility to decide late, but in July and September—when demand or prices spike—booking a few days earlier helps secure your preferred time slot. Use Klook to compare museum tickets, tours and attraction passes, and lock in what you want once you’ve picked dates: it keeps options open while still making last-minute planning straightforward.
