Fantastic 5.0
The hotel's convenience is unbeatable. It's very close to Dongcheng Road, with many restaurants and shopping areas nearby, which is extremely convenient. The decor is consistent with Japan's Toyoko Inn style, the rooms are a bit small, and you can't expect much from breakfast, just enough to fill you up.

Fantastic 5.0
The staff were friendly, the room was spacious enough and clean, the hotel facilities were new, and the breakfast provided was also good. The location is very convenient; as soon as you exit the hotel, you are in a shopping and dining center. The subway is just a few minutes away, and a taxi to Daegu Airport is only 11,000 Korean Won. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Fantastic 5.0
The front desk staff can communicate in English without any issues. The room size is suitable for two people and is very clean. It has an LG Styler, two chairs and a table for convenient dining, and a good hairdryer. Breakfast is simple: toast with strawberry jam and a ramen machine for self-service. There's a 7-Eleven right next door. Parking is available, but the number of spaces is limited. It's about an 8-minute walk from the Dongdaegu Lotte Rent-a-Car station, which is quite convenient.

More about Daegu hotels

Staying in Daegu: what to expect

Staying in Daegu offers a modest but useful range of hotel prices — the top-tier nightly rates run roughly 2.4 times higher than the most affordable economy options, so there’s clear room to upgrade if you want more comfort. The best balance for value and price sits in the standard tier, which is where most travellers find the strongest mix of cost and convenience.

How the hotel classes stack up and who they suit

Economy rooms represent the most budget-friendly choice and sit well below the other tiers, ideal for price-conscious travellers who prioritise a simple base to sleep and explore. Standard properties are the city’s sweet spot and offer noticeably more comfort than economy without a large premium, which is why they’re the best-value pick. The biggest step up in price comes when moving from standard to premium — that jump is the main decision point for travellers weighing comfort against cost. Premium and luxury sit above that threshold, with luxury offering the smallest incremental gain over premium in price but catering to those wanting the highest-end stay.

When travellers book

The priciest month for nightly rates is August and the cheapest is November, so budget-led trips are best planned for November when rates tend to be lower than in August. Rooms here are typically reserved about three weeks in advance, so if you want more certainty consider booking earlier, especially around the priciest month.
