Great 4.0
The room is very spacious, with enough space to open two large suitcases! The bathroom is also very big and even has a bathtub. The location is very convenient, and there's a Lawson downstairs. Overall, it's fantastic!

Fantastic 5.0
Twin room. The space is adequate. The toilet and shower are separate, and the sink is outside the bathroom. The advantage is that you can open your luggage, but the downside is that the bathroom space is very small. The bed is very comfortable, but there's no electric kettle; you need to borrow one from the front desk. Free breakfast. Overall, it offers good value for money.

Fantastic 5.0
When I booked the room, I might not have noticed that I had reserved a smoking room. The hotel staff immediately informed me and asked if I wanted to switch to a non-smoking room. However, all the non-smoking rooms were fully booked that day. Initially, they said I would have to pay extra for an upgrade, but for some reason, after speaking with their supervisor, they upgraded me for free. That was incredibly generous of them!

More about Miyazaki hotels

What staying in Miyazaki feels like

Stays in Miyazaki range from modest economy rooms up to considerably pricier luxury suites, with the top of the market about 2.4 times the bottom—a noticeable but not extreme spread. The best balance of cost and comfort is in the premium tier, which offers the strongest value for most travellers.

How the hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy options sit at the low end and undercut the standard tier slightly, suiting budget-minded travellers who prioritise basic accommodation. Standard rooms are close in price to economy and appeal to travellers wanting a simple, no-frills stay without a big premium. The premium tier is the sweet spot and represents the best value relative to the lower tiers; it’s where many travellers find a worthwhile step up in comfort. The biggest price jump comes when moving from premium to luxury, so choosing beyond premium is the main decision point for those weighing comfort against cost.

When travellers book and which months suit a budget trip

Travellers typically book around 47 days ahead, with many securing rooms even earlier in the priciest months. Nights are usually cheapest in 6月 and most expensive in 11月, so a budget-led trip is best scheduled in 6月 when rates tend to be substantially lower than in 11月.
