Transport in Narita

The Skyliner train is one of the fastest and most convenient ways to travel between Narita Airport and Tokyo. Operated by Keisei Electric Railway, the Keisei Skyliner offers a smooth, comfortable ride with reserved seating, ample luggage space, and free Wi-Fi. The journey to Ueno Station takes about 40 minutes, making it a great option for travelers who want a quick and hassle-free airport transfer.

Booking was easy, did it online and you just have to show your QR code. The ride from city (Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu) to Narita airport was seamless and very convenient. Just seat, relax and enjoy the view without worrying to carry and hurdle luggages. One thing to note is that the bus station in Shibuya Mark City is located on the 5th floor but the elevator is up to 4th floor only, so you need to take the escalator to your destination.

If I hadn't booked the Narita Express, it would have been very difficult given the distance from the airport to my destinations (Tokyo Station, Shinjuku). 😀 If you're booking, it's a good idea to research online beforehand how to select your seat on the day of use after purchasing a round-trip ticket. A helpful tip if you miss your train: for the Narita Express, there are usually plenty of seats, so you can just board the next train and sit in an empty seat. If you have a reserved seat, you can simply move to another available seat! (I didn't want to find this out, but I missed my reserved train on the last day and learned this when the ticket checker on the train kindly pointed out an empty seat, allowing me to happily finish my trip! 👍)

Smooth transaction and ride. We could have gotten this at a lower rate if we booked early, but due to the need to wait for visa, we only booked 2 weeks before our trip. It was easy to book and request to be dropped off at disney hotel rather than at Disneyland.

Booking the Hokuriko Arch Pass on Klook was smooth and convenient. The pass was easy to book in the app and I received my voucher 7 days after i booked. i exchanged the voucher at Narita Airport and they gave me the actual pass which i can use unlimited on all JR east/west lines around tokyo and hokuriko region for 7 days. It was also convenient and easy to book Hokuriko shinkansen on our preferred time and date with reserved seats. Totally worth it! The only downside we had was the pass sometimes are not being recognized on some stations, it wont allow us to pass so we needed to go through the manned gate , but other that that no problem. Will still book for sire to explore other areas in Hokuriko..

When planning your itinerary, calculate whether the JR Pass is cost-effective for taking the Shinkansen and trains. For subways, trains, and buses, you'll need a Suica card, which is also convenient! You don't have to buy tickets before each trip on the Shinkansen, and you'll also need to buy reserved seats for the Shinkansen! The JR Pass can be used as a single card, which is very convenient for visiting various remote attractions!

super easy to find the bus stop. we arrived early so we asked if we can ride the earlier schedule and they said yes! love it! arrived at our hotel quickly and safely!
