Ocean Riviera Paradise All Inclusive

This was our first time staying at Ocean Riviera Paradise. The staff was very welcoming as soon as we walked in to the lobby. Where we were escorted to the privilege check-in. The privileged staff were very knowledgeable and will inform you with all the upgrades you have as a privileged guest. We were introduced to our butler Pool (pronounced Paul) who by far made or stay much better by booking all our reservations for dinner and fulfilled any need that we had. Keep in mind. The hotel is very large and lengthy. Thankfully, the resort has a trolley that operates from 7 AM till 10 PM which was very helpful. There are plenty of pools for everyone to enjoy. A kids, adults only, privilege, and oceanfront pool. I can’t say that much about the other pools since we were at the privilege pool the entire stay. Plenty of restaurants with a great variety food from Italian, Mexican, steakhouse, Teppanyaki which were all fantastic. The privilege lounge also has a great breakfast, but we seem to get faster service at the breakfast buffet at the entrance and more of selection. We upgraded our room to a oceanfront suite which came with a large pullout sofa and a king size bed with two TVs and two restrooms. Our fridge was consistently stocked with beverages. The beach was a hit a mess with all the seaweed overtaking the water. But we knew beforehand what we were getting ourselves into so it wasn’t really a big deal.

The property was very nice and beautiful! The resort spans over a large area, so there is a LOT of walking! Yes, there is a shuttle that runs throughout the day but it is hit or miss as to whether or not you will actually catch it! The food was ok, not amazing, but we never had trouble finding things to eat. The entertainment is wonderful for the whole family. The pools are all great, not overly crowded. I would say the worst part of our stay was check in. Once we arrived, they took all of our luggage. Then, once checked in, we had to sit with someone and listen to their spiel, which was ultimately a time share pitch. We told him we were not interested, that after a long day of traveling, our daughter just really wanted to get to the pool. The man kept pushing for us to schedule a time to meet him the next morning during breakfast, but who wants to do that!? Once we finished with him, we had to continue to wait on someone to show us to our room. We kind of felt held hostage, as we had no idea where our luggage was. It took 90 minutes from the time we checked in to the time we finally got to our room, so needless to say, we were not in the best of moods on night one, as much time was wasted!

This was our first time at Ocean Riviera Maya and we had a great vacation! 🌴☀️ This is a wonderful, family-friendly resort and we are already looking forward to our next trip here! All the staff have been amazing, attentive, and helpful. The resort offers "privilege" access which includes a separate lounge, restaurant, private pool and beach areas, priority reservations for restaurants, and a butler who is available to help with any questions or needs. Efrain was our butler and he took amazing care of us! He greeted us upon arrival, showed us our room, gave us a tour of the resort, and truly went above and beyond. We were celebrating my birthday and he went out of his way to decorate our room with a banner, balloons, champagne, and a sweet treat. Hersson who works at the privilege pool also took great care of us. He went out of his way to help us and we looked forward to seeing him every morning. Nelly was our pool server and was friendly, helpful, and on top of everything! Ocean Eats (the resort version of room service) was excellent and it was nice to have kid-friendly options that could be delivered. Our room was great and we loved the private swimout. We appreciated having access to more quiet areas and restaurants especially while traveling with a special needs child. We had a great dinner at the hibachi restaurant with Alberto, America, and Carlos! They also have on-site bowling and Lizbeth did a wondeful job leading activities! It was fun to watch World Cup games here

We had a large family coming here and there was a bit of checking in issues. We called ahead a few weeks before to make sure we were all close to eachother or same buildings atleast and were told that was not an issue. The day we arrived we were all in different buildings but they helped as much as possible. The food was great once you start figuring out what you like and dont. The buffet changes daily so you're not forced to eat the same thing everytime especially since ce trying to get into the resturants are near impossible. We would definitely stay again. But be sure to wake up EARLY to lay out towels or you will have no chairs for the entire day as people leave them for the day and rarely use them. We would definitely stay here again with ages 2.5 to 70. Everyone had a great time.

Great property, Amazing food options, beach is not the best but they have a lot of pools to compensate for that

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. It’s clean, most of the staff is very friendly. The only thing I disliked was not having food available by poolside. There was one pool that offered it during a certain time but since it was the only pool, it took forever. The other pools you had to leave to go to a restaurant then come back. With kids, it’s just easier staying by the pool and having staff come to you.

The property was great. The staff was great. Overall we had a great time. It is very family friendly which was nice. Our main reason for choosing this property was the kids water park. There were other spots for adults only. As a first timer to an all inclusive property, I highly recommend this property.
