Everything about this hotel was lovely I didn’t get a chance to use the pool unfortunately due to weather but I’m sure it would’ve been amazing as well The staff were friendly and hospitable and the whole place was very clean and tidy in a great location.

This was an extremely disappointing stay. The bathroom already looked unclean when I entered the room, but the faucet was absolutely disgusting. I used a disinfecting wipe to clean it lightly, and a huge amount of black dirt came off immediately. The wipe turned completely black, which was honestly revolting. This is a surface guests touch every day, and the fact that it was left in such a filthy condition raises serious concerns about the hotel’s hygiene standards. Cleanliness should be the most basic expectation for any hotel, but this place completely failed. I felt very uncomfortable staying here and would not return or recommend it to anyone.

Our stay here in Hanoi was absolutely incredible. Everything exceeded our expectations, especially considering the cost. The value for what you receive is unbelievable. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and extremely well maintained, but what truly made the experience special was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on making our stay as great as possible. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast each morning was phenomenal with plenty of delicious options. It became something we looked forward to every day. A special thank you to Tracy from the concierge service, who was unbelievably helpful. She completely handled booking our day trip for us from start to finish. All we had to do was pay, and everything else was organized perfectly. It made exploring Hanoi so easy and stress-free, and it was such a valuable service offered by the hotel. The location is also fantastic. You can walk to so many attractions, it’s very close to the lake, and there are countless places nearby to eat, grab coffee, or pick up snacks. Honestly, I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this experience. It was absolutely amazing, and I would stay here again without hesitation.

Love the Peridot! The staff is so helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet and menu is incredible! The rooms are lovely, especially the ones with the balconies. A little small, but cozy. The rooftop pool/soaking tub and views are prime. And make a stop at the bar on your way up. The Peridot has everything you need for a perfect stay.

The staff were excellent—friendly, fluent in English, and always quick to assist with any request. The hotel itself was beautiful, with a charming balcony overlooking the streets of the Old Quarter that made us feel like locals right away. Breakfast had some hits and misses: the crepes were delicious and became our daily favorite, while other items, like the Danish pastries, could use improvement. My husband did experience some food sickness, possibly from the salami, though I was unaffected. Overall, despite the food needing some refinement, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the welcoming staff, comfortable room, and great location.
