We had an amazing stay at the Wyndham resort in Playa del Carmen! From the beautiful property and excellent location to the friendly staff and great service, everything made our vacation truly enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxing, the food was delicious, and we had a wonderful time from start to finish. We would definitely recommend Wyndham to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Playa del Carmen. We can’t wait to come back! 🌴☀️🌊

Wonderful short stay at the Alltra, everyone liked it. Food was good, service was excellent we had a great time. Only the beach is smaller than appears on the photo du to hurricane and climate but still it’s fine.

We can't say enough about the staff and how helpful they were and how clean the hotel was our rooms were spotless every single day and the food good ,not excellent. The reservation process was a bit cumbersome as well. One of the highlights of this resort is the rooftop bar and sushi restaurant . We spent most of our time at this pool and it's swim up bar . Our bartender Angel was GREAT ! The foam party was just like all the foam parties all the resorts have . I loved the Fire Show. Make sure you plan for that. Another thing that we thought strange were the Mexican raccoons running around INSIDE THE RESORT and the staff just acting like they belonged there , that was a little bit disturbing. But the biggest downside is the lack of a really nice beach. They do advertise they have a beach it's really not a beach and while they really work on keeping the seaweed away it's just impossible , the smell is terrible and the water is absolutely not swimable. Even with not having a beach and raccoons everywhere, the service was impeccable ,the staff friendly , and the location was great! If you like to go shopping and nightlife and just experience Mexican culture it's a fantastic spot. Very close to the ferry, close to local restaurants and culture so that's a huge plus ! Overall, if this small resort had a better beach we would go back !

Great stay with excellent service! We were very happy with our overall stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was absolutely great. The property itself is a little bit dated and could use some updates, but it didn't take away from our experience. We'd definitely consider staying here again!

It’s a beautiful resort, all the staff is friendly, they maintain the place spotless, one thing I didn’t like, it’s the amount of raccoons that roam around the resort.

Clean room. Excellent staff,respectful, kind,they were able to help all the time. Great pool and activities. All the food in each restaurant was variable , and so delicious. I highly recommend this resort. I hope to go soon. It's a great place for adults vacations.

Great service from start to finish.

I absolutely loved the property but the elevators were out of order the entire 4 days and I didn’t plan on all of the stair climbing while on vacation The food was ok but could have been much better

We liked the pool activities, and events on the resort. We loved the activity instructors. We loved the cafe. We did not like how we were significantly restricted to making reservations for all restaurants instead of just going in whenever we wanted. We were also restricted in which food we could eat at the restaurants, which was very misleading considering the pictures on the website. Some of the front desk staff were not warm when we approached them with questions or needed help, so customer service could’ve improved with that. But all the other staff were very nice.

Great location by near the tourist district, if you want to get away from the resort for a bit to explore other restaurants, shops, bars, etc. Elevator was down the entire week we were there, but they were good in moving us down to another room (upgrade without the charge). Staff was welcoming and helpful. Food was above average. They could do a better job of cleaning the tiles around the pool, plus update their painting of the walls and such (too many patch up jobs or not thoroughly enough). Other guests varied greatly on their reasons for being there; relaxation, party, honeymoon, etc. It is on the quieter side, without too much energy (especially in the evenings). Overall was a good experience and good for the price/location.
