Fantastisch A little hard to find, would definitely recommend a car but the room we had was a 3 floor condo. There was a room on the top floor which sleeps 3 on mattress on tatami mats, and 3 on a walk out lower level. The mattresses were comfortable but low ( I think they also offer European style beds) but we wanted a traditional experience. On the main level, there was a kitchen with a fridge/freezer, a 6 seater dining table and a small couch with a tv. There is also a balcony on this level. We had a bathroom with both a shower and deep tub and a separate toilet. There was plenty of room. There are several separate buildings in this hotel ( not recommended for those with mobility issues). In the main building they have a public onsen which becomes a private onsen after 10pm. You can book it for 1/2 hour intervals on check in. When it’s private you can have both male and female in the same onsen ( so my husband and I, along with the kids could all enjoy the experience together). Staff was sparse but helpful. Overall we had a great time and we even got to see Mt Fuji from the balcony early in the morning before it was covered by clouds.

It is a hotel that is tucked away up a hill, but it’s very quiet and quaint. The service is above and beyond, as our hotel manager reached out to offer us a ride from the bus stop in advance and saved us what would have been a very difficult walk uphill. He also gave us a ride to Togendai station where we were able to catch the ropeway, scenic cruise, and grab dinner. And when we were ready to head back in the evening he came back to Togendai to pick us up. The Onsen was also enjoyable and a great end to the day - the outdoor hot spring was so nice at night. Quiet and serene. Overall, would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet serene environment with beautiful views and excellent service by the hotel manager.

Hotel is a little bit more remote, which is bonus if you like the peace and quiet. On clear days Mt Fuji can be seen depending on the room. Very helpful and quick to respond staff. Had an excellent experience, despite being a bit out of the way.

This was the highlight in terms of hotels of our trip. We booked 2 rooms not realizing the "room" was actually its own building with a lower level, mezzanine living room and top floor, and our family would have been able to stay in the same place (something to consider). The hotel picked us up from the bus station, which was super helpful. And Mt Fuji greeted us in the morning! I only wish we'd stayed 2 nights here, it was really really beautiful!

Nice view but too remote. There are a lot of rocky stairs to climb up to the hotel. Only 3 male staff are there and they are helpful. The shared bathroom looks scary as the light is dim and very quiet.

Great place to stay as secluded quiet location was needed after a few days in Tokyo! Lovely Onsen which can be booked out privately! Staff are amazing and will drive you to restaurants/ konbinis so you can relax.

Fantastisch Excellent view of Mt. Fuji. Onsen was beautiful. Room was spacious and clean. No shower in the room, fyi. Amazing shuttle service and driver. Overall a wonderful experience.
