Myself and my partner stayed at Villa El Arsa for a 6 night trip last week. The Villa is beautiful and only about 3 minutes walk from from Jemaa El-Fnaa square. We had the Bahia room which is a large room with a comfy bed and a good sized bathroom. I was delighted that there was a hairdryer! The staff are helpful and friendly and recommend things to do and places to visit. The breakfasts were delicious: coffee (or tea if you prefer), fruit, breads, yogurts and eggs. There is a plunge pool and a lovely rooftop terrace with 2 levels so you can either lie on a sunbed or sit at a table. I would definitely recommend Villa El Arsa to anyone wanting to book a riad!

A calm retreat from the chaos of the Medina. The small pool offered cool relief after hot days. Huge breakfast tray every day, served on the rooftop terrace. Staff are lovely and helpful. I really appreciated that they offered coffee or tea, no matter the time, to any guests in the courtyard. Transfer service (from hotels and transportation hubs) is available and worth it. If I am ever back in Marrakech, I would stay here again.

Place is isolated and looks unsafe during late nights to move around. Manager was very rude and made some racist comments, so we didn't even check in and found a better place somewhere else. We lost whole money.

Very poor experience. Room is much smaller than advertised. Water clogs in the shower. So, the second person has to wait more than 30 minutes to water to go down the drain. Toilet is constantly running, so noise at night makes it hard to sleep. One of the two blankets smelled really bad. The breakfast is very simple. They should have fruits like bananas which are cheap. It is the same breakfast every day. On the second day of a 1 week stay, they told me that I must pay the entire balance in cash because their credit card machine is not working. I told them I only have a credit card, so unable to get a large amount of cash. Two staff members as well as the owner put pressure on me. Finally, they said they will try the machine. It worked... Very disingenuous. They should inform the guests at booking to pay in cash. Placed a lot of stress on us. Each room has the same key/lock. So, technically another guest can get into your room. When I asked them, they said they will have different keys soon. We would never stay at this Riad again.
