We are returning customers to the Royal Park Shiodome Hotel. Our stays were always welcoming and location is in the middle point of what we like to do in Tokyo. On our recent stay, however, we were met with a foul smell everytime we flushed the toliet. After a couple uses the smell will subside, but then returns the next day when we use the toliet again. I was quite surprised at this. Everything else about the hotel was great. The staff, the facilities and the location is in short walking distance to the subway, bakeries and shops underground as well as on the upper street.

As a family of 4 with very ‘picky’ teenagers, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The breakfast buffet offered a wonderfully wide variety of international and local breakfast delights. The beds are very comfy and the excellently strong water pressure made for refreshing showers.

Always a wonderful stay at the Royal Park Hotel. They strictly honor the Expedia status (upgrades, one-time drink discount, late checkout, etc.) which is refreshing for a VIP hotel. I have not received consistent recognition throughout VIP hotels. The staff is really friendly and professional. The view for breakfast is simply stunning. I would not rate it as a top buffet though (limited options) but it was still very nice and affordable. I always love the fact that there is a Family Mart downstairs and Shimbashi is a very convenient location.
