Thank you for offering us a Wonderful stay. When I first checked in, the lady at the front desk is very friendly with a sunshine smile, I forgot her name, I remember that she is from Luzhou, Sichuan. When I checked out, the front desk manager is also very nice, I remember her Chinese name: Yan Yanan, very professional and down to earth. Whoever cleaned my room did a good job and very considerate, making me feel very comfortable. I had several meals on the 43rd floor, the whole crew did an amazing job, special thanks to Helen( manager), Yoki(not sure if I spelled her name correctly), Yvenet( not sure if I spell her name correctly), especially I want to say thank you so Sabrina, she is new, but she tried very hard to do a great job, offering my family an awesome time in Shanghai .

Super friendly and helpful staff- couldn’t be better. Breakfast was the best we had out of the four different 5* hotels we stayed in China. The room interior and hotel exterior feels dated but still very nice. Location was excellent.

Club lodge is a great bonus, 5 meals per day, very nice quality and good services. Great location, very classic There is a 16.5% tax plus service fee which was a little high.

Ophold alene

The hotel is basically like every single one of the chain. It is a tad old though. The room is spacious but a bit old fashioned. The biggest problem is that Google Maps directs to the wrong place. The snacks and mini bar are uninteresting. The swimming pool is also quite ugly. But I still like this place very much because it has an awesome gym, with free weight and even weightlifting platform. It’s a proper gym. And it also has a bathroom scale. These are literally the 2 features that drive me to come back here again and again.
