For entry in the morning, press the buzzer on the outside of the building at Largo Plebiscito, 23. Filippo came to the front door to welcome us and bring us directly to check in. The hotel is inside a larger building but once one is familiar with the setup, access is easy. Room is clean and simple, including a refrigerator, with ample control of the AC to make it as cool or warm, (we were here in early July, hot days) as desired. Very nice breakfast area available 24x7. Excellent location for restaurants, cafe's, "PAM" grocery store 5 minute walk.
If you have luggage and are heading to a cruise ship, highly recommend asking Filippo to arrange a taxi/van pickup (better than Uber) which will bring you right to the cruise terminal adjacent to the ships. While the port is close (5-minutes), it's a long walk to get to the ship boarding terminal. If 7Bell's House is full, highly recommend Palazzo Alibrandi next door at Largo Plebiscito, 14. Filippo manages Palazzo Alibrandi as well.

7Bells house is a unique boutique hotel directly across from the Civitavecchia port. Our 2-night stay was comfortable, and our host was so helpful with everything. Our room was spotless, and breakfast (continental) was very good. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The property is in an excellent location. It’s right in the middle of downtown Civittavechia. I love that the hotel has an open balcony you can spend time in.

Philippe at the front desk was very helpful with our luggage, gave us a tour of the hotel floor, answered our questions about visiting Rome, and even secured our bags when we forgot to lock our room on the first night.
The room was spacious, though desk area was a bit small. The beds are quite comfortable; and I particularly liked the heating appliance in the bathroom to dry towels and clothes. Overall, it was a great stay and a very short walk to the free cruise shuttle.
