The Staff was excellent at the hotel due to being friendly and polite, my only complaints was that the room was musty upon arrival and I had to run the air conditioning for a while to get the musty smell out of the room.
plus the other thing that was bad, is that the bathroom smelled of stale urine and that smell would not go away.
Security was an issue as you do not need to use a card to use the elevator and anyone can just go to a floor, I did speak to another guest who complained about room size but I got the deluxe as it was last minute and that was spacious although it is quite expensive for the standards at the hotel in terms of modern hotels.

Under gennemsnittet The bathroom had widespread, visible mold, so I’d give the whole experience a 1. That and the bathroom light switch fell out of the wall, leaving exposed wires.
The mold could have been easily taken care of with a simple scrub brush and some cleaner with bleach, so I’d chalk it up to lax housekeeping, poor management or a negligent owner—or perhaps all three.
Personally, I’d find another place to stay unless future review indicate that the property is up to at least a minimum standard for cleanliness and maintenance.

the room is more spacious than the average hotels，just a few blocks away from the
Ueno JR main exit, which helps a lot when you are carrying luggages. the Staffs are very friendly and helpful, they were all amazing! it was definitely a comfortable stay, and we would certainly choose this hotel again.
