We checked into this property because another hotel we were at was just not right for our needs. It was very cramped and just did not have the space we wanted. Somerset came through and had a kitchen, 2 seperate bedrooms, and 2 TVs and a washer/dryer combo. It was great for what we needed. Please note we did stay at a Somerset in Shenzhen and it was awesome as well. Somerset to the rescue. We did notice a few minor challenges with cleanliness. But nothing major

The staff was great and responsive, with great communication and timely service. The room itself was very large and spacious and good enough for our large group. The room definitely showed a bit of wear and tear, but nothing bad for the price. Our bidet didn't work immediately but once we told the desk, they fixed it very quickly. Location was convenient for calling Grab to most of the more bustling locations, like the Old Quarter. Building has a large convenience store and coffee shop on the ground floor that was pretty convenient.

Enjoyed our stay in Somerset. The hotel is clean and spotless. Very accomodating staff. Gave excellent recommendations when we asked for good restaurants nearby.

Cant fault the location, close to Old Quarter but far enough away from the noise. Also in the building were a coffee shop and a small supermarket. We liked the reception area and the slip lane to the drop off area meaning you could easy get in and out of a Grab/taxi without fighting the traffic. Room was spacious but a little tired especially the carpet which was old/stained. We liked the barrel of drinking water provided, so much better than individual bottles. Do try the restaurant and bar on level 4, excellent service and food We would stay again
