From the moment we arrived so warm & welcoming . I loved that is was family owned. Sr. Onofrio so genuinely cared about us during our Mother Daughter trip. The gentleman at breakfast serving us was wonderful as well as the chef.

I am very much torn here because I want La Briosa and Bolzano to remain a secret because it is such a special hotel in a magical place. My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon after excellent stops in Rome, Florence, and Venice. La Briosa in Bolzano has been hands down the highlight of our trip by far. 5 stars are not nearly enough to rate La Briosa. Our room was spacious with a breathtaking view of the mountains overlooking town. The staff was friendly and caring. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. Bolzano itself is a jewel in Italy, a bright and shining gem in a very bejeweled country.

Extremely friendly staff, comfortable and modern rooms with motorized shades allowing for total black out and the best night of sleep. Really enjoyed my stay here ..

It's a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, well designed and the separate shower and toilet were a great help for a family of 3. The mattresses were firm and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and efficient. Very helpful and patient staff. Will definitely come back here for another stay.

A small hotel run by a most professional and friendly family. The internal redesign of this old building is the best I have ever experienced. Done by an architect who has extensive knowledge and creativity, their use of wood is magnificently creative and the project impeccably executed.
