Stay first en room 101, right beside the reception. You can hear everything all day and night. Impossible to sleep. Windows all out to a wall. Rooms almost without any thing in it. 1 glas, 2 plates. Need so much make over the place. Got a room at 5 floor. Much more silent, but still, same bad condition. Reception very nice, and do what the can to help, and find stuf you need. Okay for just sleeping, nothing else.

Very dirty , equipments not in order , staying on a hill which is very inconvenient if you prefer walking

The area was very quiet at night, the room was very clean and the boys at the desk extremely helpful. The only problem was that it was difficult to walk to the hotel because of the very steep phills streets around the hotel.

The service was excellent especially the night shift front desk was super helpful, profession and friendly, However, there was a neighbor in the next building who was inviting friends and they played load music until 3AM and sometimes they were screaming and using F word just because they knew we're Americans, so If you have a kids I don't think is a good place for you!

We had a nice and comfortable stay. Everything went well and we had a small problem with the airconditioning which was rectified by the staff. Its a short walk to Taksim square with grocery shop and pastry and a little nice cafe very close. There is a pharmacy just by the next street and a very nice restaurants very close by, barber shop, dry cleaner is almost the next door.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience that I have ever had. I travel for a living and have stayed in all kinds of hotels all over the world but this one is the worst. I took my wife for a 4 night vacation in Istanbul and booked this hotel because of its close proximity to Taksim Square. Firstly it may be near to Taksim Square but it is down a very steep hill and getting up to the level of Taksim may well be a problem if you are not fit. Secondly the cleaning of the room was non existent, for the 5 days we were there the room wasn't cleaned once and towels/bedding wasn't changed.The absolute worst part was the air conditioning, every night we went to bed and it was working but we woke during the night because of the extreme heat to find that all electricity to the room was cut off. I went down to the reception to tell them and they switched it back on. On the second and third nights this happened several times until they finally admitted on the third night that because of complaints from the neighbours they were cutting the power to the room while we were asleep. When we arrived back at the hotel on night 3 we found that they had turned off the AC and removed the remote control for it so that we couldn't switch it on. I went down to reception to demand that they give me back the remote contol which they did but the whole situation was very unsavoury. I will never stay here again and would advise anybody else to avoid this place at all costs.

Lovely room with big jacuzzi bath, nice terrace area but no views, choose a room with sea view if possible i saw one while it was being cleaned and the view was breathtaking, also choose a top floor, that room was on floor 6

Friendly front desk staff
