FlyOver Iceland ture

Rejselederen Hershey var utrolig sjov og professionel. Ud over Den Gyldne Cirkels smukke seværdigheder lærte han os også om Islands unikke navngivnings- og udtaletraditioner. Rejseplanen var velorganiserede, og selvom det blæste meget, efterlod det os med vidunderlige minder!

Great trip! Our guide was a retired Icelandic man who is very knowledgeable. I have brought some snacks with me and decided to skip the dine-in lunch. The guide arranged me to take a scenic hike trail around the town of Arnarstapi. Highly recommended!

I have to put 4 stars because the volcano hike was shorter than what was written in the itinerary. I really like the hike for the volcano but the time spent is too short in my opinion. This tour is also split into 2 groups after the volcano hike, one for blue lagoon and the rest to Reykjanes area, which I think it's not very time efficient considering the time spent for each location is also short. For this, driving is recommended than joining the tour.

Det var en fantastisk tur! Bussen var til tiden og komfortabel. Vi nød virkelig og var forbløffede over de vidunderlige skønheder i krateret, gejseren, det mægtige vandfald og nationalparken. Kan varmt anbefales!

So many similar buses come to the meeting place that it was hard to tell which one was ours. After about an hour on the bus, we arrived at a pitch-black location! At first, there were quite a few clouds, and I think we all pointed our smartphones at the sky for about 10 minutes trying to see something. Around that time, they handed out cocoa, and refills were available! Just as people were starting to head back to the bus, saying we probably wouldn't be able to see anything, someone shouted that they caught the aurora in a photo! We all ran over there and took pictures✨ A green aurora showed up in the photos, but to the naked eye, it looked like white wisps! Still, as an experience of seeing the aurora, I am extremely satisfied!
